Glynn House Inn

With the children now gone leaving us home alone, the Glynn House Inn proved to be the most wonderful place to rekindle our romance. I almost wish they (the children) had left sooner!

Lovely old Victorian. Decor was beautiful. Hosts were very nice and informative. Will stay again.

We stayed here a little over a year ago as an anniversary getaway weekend and loved it! We stayed in a dog friendly suite and brought our 2 corgis who had a blast. Glenn recommended some small mountain hikes for us and activities to do with them, which was much appreciated. The breakfast was fabulous and overall a great, friendly place to stay!

We had four fabulous nights at the Glynn House Inn. Our host Glen was gracious, caring and incredibly knowledgeable about everything from the history of the area to the best places to visit. He also reccomended four restaurants that were all unique, localized and had exquisite food. The breakfast each morning was spectacular. We had a different choice each morning. Our two room bungalow in the Cottage House was very romantic and charming. For the best personalized B & B experience visit the Glynn House Inn.

We recently stayed at the Glynn House and had three rooms in the Carriage House. This inn exceeded our expectations for pet-friendly. Our pups were quite comfortable with their own beds, food bowls and towels. They were treated as well as the rest of our family. It was a nice touch to have coffee and tea placed inside the Carriage House each morning by 7:30 and the breakfast selections were top of the line gourmet. Both Glenn and Pam were extremely gracious hosts and answered all of our questions regaqrding restaurants and directions to locations for sight-seeing. But I found it a difficult decision to leave the inn since it was so cozy and relaxing. We took part in the afternoon wine and cheese hour, played Chinese Checkers in the lovely sitting room and relaxed on the swing and rockers on the wrap-around porch of the Carriage House. My only regret is that our stay was so short - just two nights. We loved this inn so much that we are planning on returning in the fall - perhaps for a longer stay.

Great environment and ambiance! Clean and beautiful room. The hosts were very nice & personable. Delicious breakfast. Will come back.

Magnificent breakfasts. Very clean, beautiful property. Lots of knowledge of area attractions. We had 17 night stays in 3 rooms.

We come yearly to enjoy the quiet, comfort, and luxury available to us at Glynn House. For several years , we have visited in February, using the Adams Suite each time. The in-room fireplace and oversized jacuzzi tub are two of our favorite winter evening amenities. Warmly welcomed, wonderfully treated, and relaxed totally is an accurate summary of our stay. We'll be back again next year without a doubt.

Beautiful Victorian home. The owner, Glenn, was a gracious host. Our suite, the Washington on the third floor was peaceful, relaxing and very comfortable with a sitting room & hot tub. Breakfast was outstanding.

My boyfriend and I live in Seattle and we both work and go to school and work a lot. Out schedules are so hectic, I decided it was time for a relaxing vacation away. So I searched B & Bs online, we had never been and I always wanted to got to New Hampshire. The reviews I read about the personal & outstanding service were convincing enough and the pictures were amazing. We had the most personal and amazing service from the day we arrived! We stayed in the Adam's suite the first week of June. The breakfasts are indescribable, and Glen, Ingrid & Pam were the kindest people. You felt like a part of the family. They were so quick to help us plan our days and help with all of the reservations, they really did all the work and let us enjoy ourselves and not worry about a thing! They even sent us home with bags of muffins since I loved them so much! These are genuinely some of the kindest people I have come across in my life and we will definitely try to make 1-2 trips a year back - especially a trip around Christmas. The Inn is a beautiful Victorian style home and we were told Christmas lights and trees in every room and I would love to be there for the snow. Great place to stay. Rooms were very comfortable. Good selection of free DVDs in-house (We watched "On Golden Pond"). Food and service were first class. The host, Glenn, is quite knowledgable about the area and helpful in making arrangements for activities.

Attention to detail and thoughtfully appointed rooms make this lovely B&B a relaxing place to stay -- you don't have to worry, because our innkeepers have thought of everything ahead of time. Very clean and comfortable rooms, though a tad small.

This delightful inn offers sumptuous breakfasts, luxurious, fluffy towels, and all the comforts of home. This was our second visit to the Glynn, & we will surely be back again!

Inns and B&B's are our preference when traveling, so we've been to many. Our stay at the Glynn House set a new bar for service in our minds. Two examples: after arriving and settling in to our room we discovered a problem with the ventilation system in our room that, it turned out, required a technician to fix. Without hesitation the Glynn House staff moved all of our things to another room, a suite, which amounted to an upgrade, at no additional charge. It was, I believe, their way of saying "sorry for the problem". Not only did Glenn and Pamela make excellent recommendations of places to eat that turned out to be exactly as described, they left printed directions for us that we found in our room when we returned at the end of the day. When you add in the quality of the inn itself and the excellent and ample breakfasts, it makes for a memorable experience.

We're delighted to read that a couple who are experienced B&B patrons had a memorable experience staying at the Glynn House Inn.

The outstanding service started at our late check-in. The Hoover room was perfect and as trite as it may sound, this was by far the cleanest room I have ever seen. Glenn's extensive knowledge of the area made evening dining painless with reviews, recommendations and even reservations at the places that did not take reservations. Breakfast was wonderful. The service this past weekend included a 5 AM breakfast for those attending the Iron Man event. Conversation with Ingrid, Glenn and Pamela was outstanding. My next trip to the area will involve more time at the Inn utilizing the porches and outside seating area, just to relax and take in the hospitality. Generally one would say the next time in the area, I will stay there. In this case, I will look for an excuse to visit the are just to stay at the Glynn House Inn.

The Glynn House Inn is easy to get at and right in the middle of dozens of attractions and things to do. We went to White Mountain, took the pontoon boat tour "On Golden Pond" (Squam Lake) and went to a local arts festival! Great fun! Breakfast??? WOW! The Inn's hosts, Glenn and Pam, fixed us the most amazing breakfast we've ever had! The room was wonderful, the bed super comfortable, and everything was so "homey" we felt just like we belonged there! We're going back again and again! Bob & Thoy

We just got back from a weekend at The Glynn House Inn. A very beautiful bed and breakfast styled Inn. The Innkeeper Glenn was fantastic. You never felt like you were imposing on him. He was very accomodating and friendly....whether it was asking for directions or helping w/dinner reservations. Wine hour was great as well....fantastic wine and great snacks. Rebecca, their 'intern' from England was great. Your wine glass didn't stay empty if she was nearby!! I would highly reccomend this Inn and would certainly return.

We were very pleased with the accommodation - we stayed in the Eisenhower Suite. The staff were welcoming and helpful, and the Inn is very well situated for exploring both the Lakes and the White Mountains. The real highlight, however, was the dining. The breakfasts were exceptional. Highly recommended.

We stayed in the Taft Room. It was a beautiful room with lovely curtains and bedspread. Our breakfast was like eating at a 5 star hotel. What an assortment!!! Would recommend this B&B highly. You won't be disappointed.

What a terrific inn. Great rooms done in Victorian themes, but with modern conveniences as well. Fireplaces, jacuzzis, and a friendly staff made the stay most enjoyable.
