Four of us (2 couples) stayed 3 nights in this lovely B&B right in the heart of downtown. Right from the start Camillo was welcoming and helpful. The long, winding, narrow stairs typical of Amsterdam were a challenge for us seniors but Camillo came to the rescue and hauled all of our suitcases up the steep stairwell. Our two identical rooms were connected by a single bathroom which we shared with our friends, establishing the knock and lock policy right at the beginning! Camillo provided lots of great recommendations for places to eat, sites to see and pubs to grab a beer or two or three! He gladly made us reservations when we asked for assistance. We had fresh clean towels daily along with fresh roses in the rooms. He provided a delicious breakfast delivered to our rooms each morning at our requested time. We had breads and cheeses and assorted meats and granola and juice and coffee and fresh fruit. We set out each day quite full and happy! Without even asking, Camillo even packed us up a breakfast to take on the morning we left at 6:30am for the airport. We checked in for our flights and then sat and consumed the wonderful sandwiches and juice, fruit and yogurt and he packed for each of us. This was truly a great find in our search for a place to stay in Amsterdam. Centrally located it was an easy walk from the train station. Camillo was very hospitable, gracious, helpful and made our stay very memorable. We highly recommend this lovely B&B tucked away in the heart of the city.

We were delighted with our room during our two night stay, booked at short notice. It's situated just 5 mins from the train station in a quiet side street of period buildings. The owner made us feel so welcome and provided a great introduction to the city. There's only two rooms which share a bathroom and this wasn't an issue at all; everything was squeaky clean! We loved returning late at night to our toasty room! Thanks a lot.

As a caveat, I only stayed here one night with my husband, because our train and plane schedules gave us an extra night in Amsterdam at the end of our trip. For us it was a very good location, the train station is a 5 minute walk away, the Jordaan/Red Light District/Anne Frank House is 10 minutes away, Dam Square is 5 minutes, etc. We had a very cute room, good size but not huge, and we had some space to spread out a bit. It was decorated simply but nicely and very plain. A good large breakfast was included, with plenty of options, served in our room at the time of our choice between 8-10 AM. Camillo (we did not meet Joost) was very welcoming and friendly, and he gave us ideas for the day and a good recommendation for dinner. Our room was in the back of the building – it’s a very lively area but our room was very quiet. They were very accommodating with us having an early arrival – Camillo even brought our bags from the storage area to our room when it was ready while we were out in Amsterdam for the day. The room had nice extra welcoming touches, like stack of DVDs, a binder with helpful articles and information, travel books, coffee in the room, and nice large comfy bathrobes. Our bed was very comfortable, a real two-person bed, not two beds pushed together like we’ve had in some other places, and you definitely feel the difference.

the b and b is very close to central station...5 minutes that is very positive.. Camillo is very gentil and give you all information you need. The room is not very big but clean and confortable. You have also opportunity to take breakfast in your room or in a bar close to b and b (incluse price)

We found this nice little B&B on TripAdvisor, and since staying there helped to make our trip that much better, we figured a review was in order. The CityCenter is literally a few minutes walk from the Amsterdam Centraal Station and when we got there, we found Camillo and Joost to be incredible hosts! We were greeted warmly, immediately given a map and useful information about the area and the city in general (which saved us serious money), and just generally had everything we needed to know about the place explained to us VERY efficiently! Every day, we had breakfast delivered to our room between 8 and 10, and what a breakfast it was! Several different kinds of fruit, milk, juice, cereal, fresh rolls and pastries and each day, a different 'main course'...And all delicious! Also, every day we came back to our room clean (as long as we were out of our room for enough time to let them do so), the bed made and (our favorite) a little candy placed on the folded towels and robes! There is just one bathroom (with a fantastic, futuristic shower!) between the two rooms, but never was this an issue for the 4 nights that the other room was also occupied! When we come back to Amsterdam, we will be staying here...End of story.

Loved the room, the location, the breakfast. Everything except the steepness of the stairs, but I guess most of Amsterdam is like that.

The CityCenter B&B is ideally situated at a few minutes' walk from the central station and city center and right next to a tram stop. The rooms are very welcoming, brightly furnished and full of nice touches such as fresh flowers, candy bars, tea-making facilities and a collection of DVDs. On our arrival, we were met by our host Camillo who was very helpful and friendly, giving us lots of tips about Amsterdam. The in-room breakfast is delicious and plentiful.

We had a great experience staying at this place. Communicating with Camillo was very easy, got prompt response to our emails. He is one of the owner of the property and he stays downstairs so we had someone to take care if we needed something or had any questions unlike at other B&B where we are given keys and are left on our own. Also I have to mention this: Camillo gave us a warm welcome allowed us to check-in earlier than the normal check-in time as our flight arrived early. He gave us a map and showed us all the attractions, how to get there, places to avoid as we had children. I thought that was awesome, to have some guidance in an unknown place. Worth the money spent. It was like 2 mins walk to the tram station.
