    LOVIN THE HERRON HOUSE

    My husband and I turned a business meeting into a romantic getaway! We already loved Waynesville. What a great town! We enjoyed the hospitality of the Herron House very much. We especially enjoyed bringing our small dog with us. The breakfast was delicious. We'll be back!

    Marylu

    MaryLu's Room on the second floor is an exquisitely-decorated octagonal shaped room. It has a queen-size bed, an antique love seat and chair, and is decorated in romantic shades of rose, mauve and burgundy. The beautiful 48-pane window, original to the house, provides guests with a truly Victorian atmosphere. Down pillows and a down comforter with an embroidered cover from England make MaryLu's Room extra special. The modern bathroom has a standard tub and shower. Mary Lu has a TV, hair drier, extra large closet and radio alarm clock. This large room can accommodate a twin rollaway bed.

    Molly

    Molly's Room on the second floor has the look and feel of a country cottage. Furnishings include a king-size picket fence bed, and two comfortable chairs, ideal for reading and relaxing. Situated on the northwest corner of the building, the spacious room provides a quiet, relaxing setting. The modern bathroom has a large enclosed shower. The Molly room is decorated around the color of periwinkle. Molly has a TV, hair drier, extra large closet and radio alarm clock. This large room can accommodate a twin rollaway bed.

    Jessica

    Jessica's Room on the second floor has a queen-size high four-poster bed with down pillows and down comforter. The decor is porcelain and navy with touches of Victorian red -- refreshing and restful. Two comfortable chairs make it an ideal place to relax and unwind. It has a large full bathroom with modern amenities, featuring both shower and claw foot soaking tub. Jessica has a TV, hair drier, extra large closet and radio alarm clock. This wide room faces east to catch the morning sun and boasts a lovely view of the lower garden and the Smoky Mountains in the distance.

    Henry

    Henry's Room on the second floor has a queen-size high rise pine bed and is decorated in deep shades of red and brown. Guests can enjoy an outdoor theme with ducks, complemented by antique teddy bears and reproduction radio. Down pillows and a down comforter create a cozy retreat. Two comfortable wingback chairs beckon you to relax. Awaken to the morning sun and magnificent Smoky Mountain views! The large bathroom has modern amenities and features a claw foot soaking tub and shower. Henry has a TV, hair drier, extra large closet and radio alarm clock. This spacious room can accommodate a twin rollaway bed.

    Lucile

    Lucile's Room was originally the parlor on the first floor and overlooks the lower garden with spectacular views of the Smoky Mountains from the large windows. It is the closest room to the lovely wrap around porch, making it a favorite for those wishing to quietly enjoy the outdoors. It has a queen-size bed, with matching antique dresser. It is beautifully appointed in shades of yellow, pink and green with two chairs and an ottoman for reading and relaxing. The fireplace (non-working) has the original mantel. In the bathroom is a claw foot soaking tub with shower and an old-fashioned water closet. Lucile has a TV, hair drier, extra large closet and radio alarm clock. This big room can accommodate a twin rollaway bed.

    Bowman

    Bowman's Room, conveniently situated on the first floor, is specially designed for wheelchair accessibility. All of the doorways are extra wide with plenty of room between the furnishings. It has two twin beds that easily convert to a king-size bed. The decor is in restful shades of powder blue and white with two chairs for reading and relaxing. The spacious modern bathroom is also handicap accessible with numerous grab bars. Bowman has a TV, hair drier, extra large closet and radio alarm clock. It is our largest and most popular room with a lovely view of the lower garden, the gazebo and the Smoky Mountains in the distance.
