Alrededor de 1830 Cedar Grove Plantation es un buen ejemplo de una histórica "plantación de trabajo". Cedar Grove se sitúa en 160 acres de senderos naturales, bosques, estanques y campos de cría una vez por la familia fuerte. La soledad es un deducirán. Tenemos 4 habitaciones disponibles en el histórico "en forma de l edificio" cerca de la casa principal que alguna vez fue la casa original de la escuela y casa de transporte. El piso principal de la casa está abierto a los visitantes. Un desayuno completo "del Sur" se servirán en la casa principal. Le ofrecemos la estancia de fin de semana perfecto lejos. Ubicado a 11 km del centro de Natchez.

Our stay at Cedar Grove was a very pleasurable experience. The grounds were beautiful and the hospitality and dining was excellent. I highly recommend visiting Cedar Grove Plantation when in the Natchez area.

Everything about our stay at Cedar Grove Plantation was absolutely fantastic!! It could not have been better! The history was very interesting, the breakfast was one of the best ever, the property was gorgeous, and the rooms were very comfortable. What more can you ask for? Lyda and Charles Jordan are a very "down- to- earth" and hospitable couple. They make sure everything is just right for their guests. I would recommend Cedar Grove to anyone!!

If you want the true feel of Southern Hospitality and want to not only see but feel the charm of the Old South this is the place to go. Lyda & Charles Jordan have done an excellent job of keeping this antebellum plantation built in the early 1800’s true to its roots. The rooms are located in the original Carriage House and decorated with period antiques but with all the conveniences of home. All rooms adjoin the large courtyard and swimming pool/hot tub area, where Lyda offers a relaxing glass of wine, or take a swim or unwind in the hot tub. I was pleasantly surprised when I was invited to join the family for dinner, where Lyda prepared a delicious meal of venison, rice and gravy, fried okra and macaroni & cheese and her signature sweet tea. After dinner I took a walk around the grounds and enjoyed the cedar, live oak and magnolia trees and antique roses. As an added bonus I got to see a nesting pair of Pileated Woodpeckers. After a great night’s sleep, Lyda prepared a delicious breakfast of bacon, scrambled eggs, grits and biscuits, coffee & juice. This is a “don’t miss” if you want to be immersed and experience the history of the area. I’ll definitely be back again.
