"A friend and I were traveling down the Hudson via kayak and needed a place to stay in Haverstraw. Our main criteria were finding an inn where we could store 2 16-foot kayaks overnight, and not too far from the water. I thought with those as the primary needs we'd be lucky to find a place that would be clean and comfortable as well. Well, we were more than Lucky to find the Bricktown Inn. Joe and Michele could not have been nicer or more accommodating, and the inn itself was clean, quite comfortable and beautifully furnished as well. There were many of those small touches that tell you the innkeepers are really thinking about the comfort of their guests. Good conversation and great pancakes for breakfast as well! I highly recommend the Bricktown Inn no matter what your mode of travel!"
