Neufeld-Davies Bed and Breakfast

Kate and Perry are such wonderful people. From the time we arrived on Friday afternoon when Perfy gave us a tour, as well as answer any questions we had, since it being our first time to Hermann, we had quite a few. The best part of our stay was the relaxing atmosphere of the bed and breakfast and the delicious breakfast cooked by Perry. Biscuits and gravy, eggs, cheesy hash town casserole, fruit etc. we needed a weekend away from the normal grind of our daily lives and that is what we got. Another couple staying at Neufeld and Davies the same weekend as us, they had been their 13 times previously. That says something -- now I know the reason people keep coming back. I too shall return! Thanks for the wonderful hospitality!

Super clean place to stay. Excellent breakfast!!! Very friendly. I would highly recommend this bed & breakfast.

I recently made my first trip to Missouri and my boyfriend and I stayed with Kate and Perry one of our nights. They have a VERY comfortable atmosphere and were more than friendly. From the momment we walked in the door I felt as though I was visiting an old friend instead of staying in a strangers home. As far as any constructive critisism, I have none. My stay was perfect and the breakfast was a amazing. Thank you so much!

This place is perfect!!! My wife and I wanted a nice place to celebrate our anniversary and our friends wanted a place to get married and this was the place. From the first call to Kate, I knew this place would be good. She is so friendly and helpful and after she found out our friends wanted to get married, she was so excited and happy to have the wedding right in her home. We stayed two nights and had excellent meals both mornings, kudos to Perry on the wonderful food. In fact the whole family gets rave reviews from our group. We all felt so welcomed and comfortable and we know we will be visiting again. This will become our annual tradition!

Can't say enough about this place. It's close to Stone Hill winery but far enough away from downtown so that sitting on the deck at night all you hear is peace and quiet! Our party of four had two rooms on the top floor with a deck. Breakfast both mornings was great. Can't say enough about Perry's biscuits and gravy! Both Perry and Kate went out of their way to make us feel at home in their home. We plan to go back again as often as we can. We highly recommend this B&B to anyone planning on going to Hermann.

If you are looking for that impersonal and steril hospital/hotel feel, keep on looking. Kate and perry's place was amazing. Very clean, quiet, and a home away from home. Kate and Perry do their best to make you feel like it's your home as well and not like guests. We had an amazing stay and when you come to Hermann, you should visit Kaye and Perry, then your stay will be amazing to.

My girlfriend and I were trying to find a quiet, romantic B&B to stay during our first trip to Hermann. Kate was the only person who got back to me on such short notice, and I could sense her warmth even through e-mail and our later phone conversation. Obviously, I'd read all the great reviews too. When we arrived, Kate personally greeted us at the door, gave us a tour of their place and led us to our room. She even let us check in early. The service was truly outstanding! Perry's a great cook - what a scrumptious breakfast!! The B&B is away from the hustle-and-bustle of the town - it's secluded, the rooms are great...We will definitely go back there and recommend this place to anybody. This place feels real, not sterile or hokey. You quickly feel you belong here. This is a home not a rented room. Kate and Perry will make you feel like you are visiting family. You can tell they love being innkeepers, it is not just a job for them. The food is also brought forth with the same level of care, and had I known I could have had dinner prepaired for us as well I would have jumped at the chance. As a foodie myself I am particular and often disappointed, not so with perry. The restaurant kate recommened was perfect for us. If you visit hermann trust your stay to nuefeld-davies and Kate and Perry you will not be dissappointed.

Three of us girls (40's) stayed at Kate and Perry's place to get away from the world and had the best time!! Perry is an awesome cook and Kate is the most personable person to talk with. She works very very hard to make sure your stay is great and is so accomodating. The outside of the house is a work in progress so dont judge by that because the inside is gorgeous!! Antiques and modern mixed together.The place is so clean and new and you'll love the kitchen. Everything you need is there- cable tv,dvd player, computer, outside sitting. Just wonerful. I cannot say enough about Kate and Perry and their son Matthew. I can't wait to get back and I'm trying to send my 13 year old and his dad to stay the night and golf nearby. Stone Hill winery tour was neat! And the antique shops and the art boutique were great. Simons is a good place to eat!! Loved it!!!

My title says it all... Us and another couple have been coming to Hermann for 3 years and keep coming back for 2 reasons: 1) the wine trail and 2)Kate & Perry (and the kids too!). This was our 4th stay & certainly not our last. I have never felt more at home than when we stay here. Kate is wonderful (how many times do you get greeted by your innkeeper with a hug!) and Perry's B&G is in one word - amazing. Everyone, but especially young people, look no further; you will love this place. From the cleanliness, to the deck, to the morning coffee room, to the smells of waking up at your grandma's, you will not be disappointed!! -Tami & Brett

Five couples were in Hermann for a wine trail weekend and Kate and Perry were wonderful hosts!! The rooms were perfect and extremely clean. The breakfast was out of this world!! We will definately stay with them again when visiting Hermann!

My husband and I visited Hermann July 27-28 and stayed at the Neufeld-Davies B&B. What a wonderful experience. Kate was away but Perry was a wonderful host (and cook). The room was beautiful as was the rest of the house. I would highly recommend this B&B, you will not be disappointed.

We were greeted warmly by Kate and breakfast was made by Perry the next day (out of this world!). We joked with him about the large amount of food he prepared for us and pointed out that there WERE only 4 of us in the group...we at it all! Simply delicious. The rooms were lovely and comfortable and we had our own bathrooms with showers and the beds were wonderfully cozy. It doesn't have huge curb appeal but definitely worth the trip to get there!

We had a wonderful stay for the Choc Wine Trail. We were a little worried when we pulled up- not much curb appeal. We were pleasantly surprised. The accommodations were perfect. Kate and her family were superb hosts. Breakfast was amazing. We plan on returning when it is warmer so we can enjoy the outdoor fire pit!

Kate and Perry were fabulous hosts. The suite was all we could ask for at a great price. Breakfast was amazing no way we could have gotten better service or food at a restaurant. We've been coming to Neufeld-Davies for close to 10 years now. Larry and Nancy Hamm took beautiful care of this get-a-way for most of those years. This same caring, friendly, and above and beyond quality continues with their daughter Kate and her husband Perry. We will continue to enjoy the B&B and the family for years to come! We were very pleased with our stay at Neufeld-Davies. Kate was wonderful at accomodating our needs and she cooked a fabulous breakfast. We loved the deck just outside the rooms. Kate and Perry certainly have set the bar high for any other B&B stay. I'm used to staying in 4-star hotels for work-related travel, and I can say that the comfort and hospitality was definitely up there, and the breakfast was wonderful. I also feel like I hit the jackpot because the price was almost half of what other area B&Bs were charging, yet I never once felt like I was getting second-rate service. Thank you Kate and Perry for your hospitality!!

Kate and Perry sure know how to cook! We stayed two nights and still can't stop talking about the food! The biscuits and gravy are amazing and everything is homemade. The rooms were very clean and not cluttered like some B & Bs. We sat out on the deck both nights and really enjoyed the peace and quiet of the small town. We will be back next year for sure!

We really enjoyed our stay at Neufeld-Davies with Kate and Perry. We stayed on a Sat night, and the Sun breakfast was absolutely amazing! Its a very quiet place (no tv or radio in bedrooms), nice outdoor areas to relax, a beautiful comfortable home. If you are looking for quiet and peaceful, would absolutely recommend this one!

Well,...after being bumped from another overbooking. The Chamber of Commerce recommended the Nuefeld-Davies. What a great welcome we had from Kate and our weekend getaway was complete. An Outstanding Clean home inside. Coffee and Breakfast was Auwsome, didn't have to eat again till supper. Thanks Perry and Matt.

We really enjoyed our stay. The rooms were spotless and neatly decorated. The bed was very comfortable with plush linens. We stayed in the suite with a private bath equipped with shower and tub. The house was neatly decorated with antiques and a very cozy relaxing feel. Kate knew Herman inn and out and was very helpful with sugestions and directions. We really liked that there was ashtrays outside for smokers. The deck was neatly lit at night and had a very romantic feel. Breakfast was very good. We really enjoyed our stay.

after another b&b overbooked us, we were sent to Kate.....she made the whole visit perfect. This a beautiful house and we felt so comfortable and at home. The food was outstanding. I will always go back to Neufeld-Davies.

Another B&B in Hermann messed up and wouldn't honor our reservation - which turned out to be a great thing! We stayed with Kate at the Neufeld-Davies and fell in love with it! Great hospitality, great accommodations and great food! Thanks Kate!

What a calm, quiet, charming place! Kate and Perry are friendly and welcoming. The food is delicious, and the rooms are lovely. This is a great place if you really want to escape from the world! I highly recommend it.

I had a reservation at another establishement in Hermann, and because that B&B messed up the reservation, they made arrangements for us to stay with Neufeld-Davies Bed and Breakfast. I am so glad! Had I know that this place exsisted, it would have been my first choice! The room was beautiful, the service wonderful and the breakfast, better than my Grandmother's biscuits and gravy! I will be back and will tell all my friends as well!
