"My wife and I spent a weekend here in February as a little winter getaway. We stayed in room 6 on the third floor. The room was large, very clean and comfy, with a gas fireplace, sitting area, exposed stone walls, a large four poster bed, and a huge bathroom with a whirlpool tub and shower. Also had a TV with satellite. Everything was very nice, from the linens to the variable lighting. The staff was very pleasant and helpful whenever we needed anything without being intrusive. Sometimes small inns/B&Bs can feel somewhat nosy or pesty, especially for those on a romantic getaway, but they were great about giving us our space. Only a minor complaint-- there was no DVD player, but we just hooked up a laptop to the TV via hdmi cable so no problems there. The food and beer was excellent (we got the winter special of $50 restaurant gift card with our two night stay!). Seems like they put thought into all aspects of their menu. The steaks were excellent and unique. Their Old Ale was incredible-- amazing flavors from aging in oak bourbon barrels with a very strong backbone. The pale was nothing too special, just a nicely balanced session beer (which is always welcome). Mineral Point is a nice, quaint little town. Even in the winter we found at least seven art galleries open (there are probably twice that in summer), covering a wide variety of styles and media. As it was February in Wisconsin, we spent most of the time relaxing indoors, but I'm sure there's much more to do in nicer weather. Overall Brewery Creek is a great place to stay. It may seem a bit pricey, but you get what you pay for. I would highly recommend it!"
