Furnishings include an antique brass and white iron queen-size bed, embroidered area rug, antique pine dresser and blanket chest, plus a comfy upholstered reading chair. The Nautical room offers a private bath with revitalizing shower, and a large porcelain antique pedestal sink with brass fixtures.

"Essence of calm, distinctive pleasures and dear friends"

"My beloved late grandparents owned this home for many years. It has always been my "dream home", a place I want to own someday. I hadn't been there since about 1988, so it was lovely to return and see "her" in her newer glory. But she still has the lovely structures and quaint appeal. Many things are expertly restored. The bedding, the baths, the luxury was like we were royalty. The pleasure of Russ and Duncan's welcoming charm is a true memory and we treasure our friendship with them. Our young daughters absolutely enjoyed the entire stay. The breakfast was out of this world--melt in your mouth waffles with berry sauce, fantastic sausage (and I'm picky about brands), creamy yogurt and fresh melon. We met some lovely couples while we were there. We certainly will be lifelong friends of TCH and Russ and Duncan. Their recommendation to eat at BaBa Louie's for dinner was spot on!-wonderful people and excellent wine and pizza! "
