    The Holbrook House is a ten room, three suite B&B built in 1876, located in the historic district within walking distance of downtown Bar Harbor. All guest rooms have a private bath and a/c; some feature a fireplace or private porch. Each morning we include a home cooked breakfast and afternoon tea with homemade treats. We look forward to your stay with us as you explore beautiful Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park. Open May to October.

    An opinion from across the pond.....

    We have just got back to England from a visit to Maine, the highlight was definitely the few days we spent at Holbrook House, fantastic atmosphere, wonderful food,the welcome we received was amazing.... keep up the good work ...We would recommend this B&B and look forward to visiting again. Thank you for a great time. "The Fosters" England.

    Eric and Michelle the new innkeepers are very customer focused. The breakfast were always very good and afternoon snacks appreciated. Room #2 was recently remodeled and looks great. They have also remodeled several public rooms and other rooms are to come. Great location in Bar Harbor.

    We just left the Holbrook House this morning. My husband, another couple and I spent the night in the Lupine suite. It's a little cottage behind the main house. It has two charming bedrooms, a sitting room, and a bathroom with shower. The room was comfortable as well as clean and nicely decorated. The main house was beautiful and well kept. Michelle and Eric were wonderful hosts and the breakfast was excellent. The Bar harbor area is beautiful and a stay at the Holbrook House only enhanced our experience in the area. Thank you, Michelle and Eric!
