A sweet Victorian blue checked love seat, a pair of silk covered wing chairs for relaxing and reading and a federal chest fill the large room . A square flat top canopy 4-poster bedstead dressed in crisp white linens and a handmade quilt at the foot of the queen bed sits atop a colorful Karastan oriental rug. An Audubon print and a strikiing oil painting of apples by New England artisit Shirley Patton grace the walls. The bath is a tub shower combination with pale pink tiles.

The Nell's suite is decorated in floral paper in shades of pink, green and white peonies with silk draperies framing the traditional windows. The sitting alcove with windows facing the gardens and pool, has a love seat that opens into a bed. A pair of cranberry silk wing chairs sit atop a red oriental that covers the antique wood floor. A drop leaf table, and step-back pine cupboard filled with interesting books complete the perfect place for a late nite snack or early morning newspaper. The sweet petite bathroom is decorated in bright cheery yellow with country mirrors placed above the vanity.
