It was our first night baby free and were also we were celebrating my wife's birthday, which I notated when I booked the room. The keyless entry and no check in was super convenient and hassle free. When we got to the room and there was a bottle of wine waiting for us to celebrate her birthday - good touch Inn at St. Botolph. It was quiet, close to everything downtown, and the staff was very helpful. Also, we drove in and anyone who know Boston knows parking is a pain. We were able to use the the Inn's garage parking pass (it is only a block away). You call ahead of time and they pull your car up to the entrance. Totally worth the $35. Overall, it was a very pleasant and relaxing experience. I would definitely recommend the Inn at St. Botolph to anyone.

We received a Bed and Breakfast gift card and decided to use it for our anniversary. This was the only place in Boston that accepted your gift card. It was a quaint looking place and we thought this would give us a different perspective of Boston (we live on the south shore). I did mention that it was our anniversary at registration and we were pleasantly surprised with a bottle of champagne on ice when we arrived - with a note wishing us a Happy Anniversary. It was a very nice touch and totally unexpected. The room was nice and clean and situated on a beautiful brownstone-lined street, but we could hear people walking across the floor in the room above us - so it was a bit noisy. We did like the keyless entry and the no check-in/check-out process. It was comfortable, but small - but it was just a quick overnight stay; so we didn't need a lot of room. They did provide a couple discount gift certificates to local area restaurants, which was also a nice touch. The gift card helped cover some of the cost of the room, otherwise we never would have spent that much on a room. NOTE: They did not offer any dining facilities - so the unsatisfactory rating should read "not applicable."

We stayed here for a long weekend getaway and it was fantastic! The location is perfect...just one block from the subway and the Pru, and a short walk to Copley and Newbury Street. The one-bedroom looked exactly like the pictures, so no surprises that you sometimes find. The staff was very nice as well! If you prefer non-chain hotels and want a great location for a competitive price, this is the place to stay!

The room was okay but some corners of the room looked neglected and the toaster oven look very dirty. Otherwise though the location was great and we did enjoy ourselves. Probably would not return though, very average.

The staff was very helpful and courteous, we had access to free internet and if needed there was a computer, breakfast was included in the price and was very good, location was perfect, the room was clean and bed very comfortable. The gym was a bonus, also a free laundary facilities. The keyless entry system was great.

We cannot wait to return...There is no dining at the Inn but they sent us to a fabulous restaurant and they called us the next day to find out where to send my husband's scarf which he left in the room! Now, that has never happened before (not at the Ritz or at the Four Seasons..............

We really enjoyed the beautiful building and room, as well as the central location. Also, the keyless entry and access code system made arrival and departure very easy. However, while the front desk was helpful, they did not go out of their way to provide excellent service and assistance answering questions. Even though the check-in process did not require contact with the front desk, I still expected excellent service when needed, given the price of the room.

not a bad thing to say. great place run by great people! I would go back without a second thought.
