"Great location, bargain price, comfortable bed, generous host. I stayed with Alex for five nights when I first relocated to Malta. His insights, advice, and assistance were all very helpful as I was learning my way around. For the price point, the location could not be better. His large apartment is located one block from the Strand, right on the coast in Sliema, with great restaurants, beautiful seaside views, and many other attractions within minutes on foot. Alex picked me up when I arrived at the airport, and this was only the start of his hospitality. I had the pleasure of tasting his cooking for dinner a few times (for which I reimbursed him extra), and it must be said, the man can cook; I especially enjoyed his soups. He gave me fresh advice each evening about my plans to explore Malta, his maid did a good job with my laundry, and even his son was kind enough to drop me off once, when I needed a lift. Alex a born host, the sort of person you want to keep as family, after the visit is over. I highly recommend his B&B to anyone visiting Malta, and the price is perfect for students and anyone else on a budget."
