La mansión de Cleftstone, construido en 1884 en "Del millonario Row", es una de las pocas mansiones victorianas para escapar del incendio de 1947. Las diecisiete habitaciones, cada una con baño privado y magníficas habitaciones de común están amuebladas con antigüedades victorianas y obras de la época, creando un ambiente que recuerda a principios de siglo Bar Harbor. Disfrutar de un desayuno de gourmet cada mañana creado por nuestro chef y propietario Anne Bahr, así como refrigerio por la tarde.

My wife and I had a great time in Bar Harbor and enjoyed our stay at Cleftstone Manor. The service was perfect, room was clean and breakfast was amazing. We'd return without question.

This Autumn we returned to Maine as part of a seven week journey. We looked forward to reaching Acadia National Park and hopefully returning to Cleftstone Manor. We had stayed at Cleftstone Manor four years ago and had a great stay at that time. Staying at Cleftstone Manor is special event. The proprietor makes one feel at home with conversation and a tasty happy hour each afternoon. Breakfast each day is wonderful--gourmet type food. The mood is so comfortable that it is hard to leave. One terrific feature is the location which places you within a few minutes of downtown Bar Harbor and the entrance to Acadia National Park.

I would come back again,close to Acadia,but a little far from town.Nice and quiet,bed was comfty,room was large.

We had a lovely room. Great breakfasts. Owner was very helpful with recommendations - sights to see, places to eat, she loaned out audio CD guide to Acadia Natl Park - driving tours. Very helpful. Social hour every evening was extremely nice - good company to visit with, great snacks provided - bring your own bottle of wine and enjoy an hour or two before going out for dinner.

First time staying at a Bed and Breakfast and I must say it was well worth it. We had a fantastic stay. The food was absolutely wonderful. I figured the breakfast would be mediocre but I was dead wrong. It was fabulous as well as large portions. Ann, the owner was also very helpful. with recommendations for things to do and places to eat.

The rooms were very clean, comfortable and beautifully decorated. The breakfasts were huge, delicious, and different each day. The service and friendliness was great. My husband & I were very pleased with our 3 night stay, and would highly recommend this place. The evening "cocktail" hour snacks were tasty, and provided a chance to relax and chat with the owner and other guests. We had a wonderful weekend!

This was our second time staying here. We came back because of the very well prepared and nicely served breakfast, as well as the charming and roominess of the place. The evening appetizers and openness of the Manor. If and when we are able return to Bar Harbor, we will stay here once more.
