My wife and I recently stayed for three nights over a weekend on the Green Turtle II and once again had a fabulous and relaxing weekend getaway. This was our 4th stay here and our first since the move to Winthrop and honestly we had as good a time as ever. The airport is close but we actually had a great time watching planes come and go and fantasizing on where their passengers were going off too. Even somewhat romantic on one evening. Noise was never a problem while sleeping and not even that big a deal any time else. Rossetti's Cafe is a BYOB restaurant not to be missed, along with Belle Isle seafood. Breakfasts delicious and timely as always. And the Green Turtle II itself luxurious. We will keep on going back!

Cant say enough about every aspect of our short stay. The difficult part is that I have told so many that Im afraid the reservations will book up before we can book again! Will be booking again with friends and my daughter's graduation asap!!! Accommodations and the inn keepers were fantastic!

We've stayed at the Green Turtle several times before they moved to Winthrop. We always had a great time - and we did again this time at their new Winthrop home. The location is right across from the airport, which I happen to enjoy. Found apps for my iPhone to show my local radar and listen in to ATC, sat on the dock with a glass of wine, and watched the planes and boats go by. There can be noise depending on wind direction, although Sunday we heard very little as the wind shifted to the east. Winthrop is an interesting town. Lots of great places to eat, at far less that you'll pay just a few miles away in Boston. We spend two afternoons walking at the Deer Island park which looks over the islands and harbor - a perfect way to spend an afternoon. Karen and Jon are wonderful hosts, the room is very nicely decorated with nice touches like bottles of water and munchies, and the breakfasts (brought by whenever you request) were as good as you'll find anywhere. From the moment we walked down the dock we both felt like we were on vacation. The Green Turtle is a gem, and one of our favorite places to stay.

Staying aboard the Turtle III was more than I dreamed! If you are inspired by water, this is your stay! The innkeepers were some of the nicest people I have met! They thought of everything!

We enjoyed our stay at The Green Turtle. Jon and Karen were wonderful hosts and the pancake breakfast was delicious! A little noisy at times with the airport being across the harbor, but it was also entertaining to watch the planes come and go. We ate dinner at a nearby restaurant (which was highly recommended by our hosts and our friends who had stayed previously) and were not disappointed. Having a beautiful boat as our accommodations was a dream come true. We will definitely return!

Karen and Jon are amazing hosts and the Turtle is a one-of-a-kind experience! It was a delightful stop in our honeymoon tour around the States, and a peculiar way to live Boston. We highly recommend it. -- D&F

What a fantastic time aboard the Green Turtle II!!! Jon and Karen were fantastic and the yacht was amazing! The bed was super comfortable, the breakfast was home cooked and delicious, and the weather couldn't have been any better! We felt like queens aboard such a beautiful vessel and just wish we would have known when we booked that we should have stayed more nights! This is a perfect out of the ordinary B&B experience that you will NOT regret! The Green Turtle II is bigger than the GTI, but I didn't board the GTI so I can't tell you how it was. We LOVED the GTII, though!
