Ingredientes

  • 2 tablespoons light corn syrup
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 6 slices North Fork Cinnamon Sourdough Bread OR
  • 1 loaf french bread
  • 5 eggs
  • 1 1/2 cups milk
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
  • Cinnamon, to taste

  1. Lightly grease a 9" x 13" baking dish. In a small saucepan over medium heat, heat the corn syrup, butter and brown sugar until butter is melted and mixture is smooth, about 3 minutes. Pour into prepared pan. Slice bread and place in pan as tightly as possible.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, vanilla, salt and cinnamon. Pour over the bread mixture. Cover and refrigerate overnight.
  3. The next morning, preheat oven to 350° and bake for 35 -40 minutes, until crispy. Sprinkle with confectioner’s sugar and serve.
