    Cuando introduzca el Village Inn, una cabaña restaurada de la playa de 1930, empezará su aventura en el pasado histórico de la isla. Cada habitación tiene su propio estilo único y ha sido nombrado para una persona que ha tenido algún impacto significativo en la isla de St Simons. La cabaña sirve como la principal puerta de entrada y cuenta con un pub inglés de olde junto a la chimenea de piedra original. Es el perfecto lugar de recolección. Nuestras habitaciones disponen de camas confortables deliciosamente, túnicas acogedoras, gruesas toallas esponjoso, secador de pelo, plancha y planchar. La mayoría tienen una balacony privada con vistas a la pintoresca aldea o nuestro patio privado.

    Great Location, Not a B&B

    The room was spacious(we got a suite), but on the street front and next to the on-site Village Pub. The downside of the "and Pub" was live music until late night; the upside is a nice spot for a drink or good music. Make sure you get a room away from the music if you plan an early (or not late anyhow) evening. We kept the air running, which was another problem - very drafty. The location was great, right next to the village; walk easily to shopping, restaurants, the lighthouse. museum, community dock. The "deluxe continental breakfast " was only deluxe if your standard is the Motel 8 on Route 95. The highlight was do it yourself waffles, which weren't bad. Don't expect a B&B experience! And don't expect the internet access to work o the staff to be able to help you.

    We love this B.B you just can't go wrong. The rooms are spotless and beautiful. We highly recommend the Inn and Pub. The only problem we have had is that there is this very quant pub next to the rooms. We have had a problem with noise late into the night. It's still worth staying there.

    The room was better than expected. For some reason we expected a microwave and fridge, but after reviewing reservation that was never an admenity. It should be and there was room for the 2 great necessities at least for us. The beds slept wonderfully and the linens throughout were exceptional! The place was in walking distance to great eating and nightlife plus the waterfront and pier. Parking on Friday and Saturday nights made us wish we had picked a different place. The Inn also has a popular Pub and parking is first come first served....guests are faced with a huge dilemma and no Inn Keeper to help out ....only bartenders. So after Friday night fallout we planned to walk where ever we needed to go for Saturday. Also, with the Pub room location could be miserable...lots of outdoor activity included noise. We always bring a fan to keep cooler but cooler was no problem. The temperature outside was 94 and higher during the day but the A/C kept our room COLD! The breakfeast we cannot comment on due to each day we woke up too late to enjoy. We would stay again. We are just more educated now as to when and which rooms. Highly recommend this place

    And Tavern!

    More hotel, less B&B, the Village Inn is pretty and immaculate but its' corporate ownership makes it less personal than you might expect from a B&B. Our upgraded room was next door to the tavern and a noisy crowd kept us awake well into the night, long after we had hoped to get to sleep. The deluxe continental breakfast was on a par with your average Holiday Inn, and my husband was afraid we might suffer from too many big breakfasts! Forget worrying about that.

    Great Place to stay!!

    My neice and I stayed at Village Inn and Pub in December 2006. We loved it. So quaint and cozy. The room was beautiful with all the amenities. The breakfast was delicious and the inn is located so that you can walk to shops and restaurants. We plan to go back soon and enjoy this little jewel again.

    Nicest little Inn around!!!

    My wife and I stayed here for our second wedding anniversary and thought it was the nicest place. The scenery alone was beautiful! On top of it all when the wife wanted soft-serve ice cream there was a Dairy Queen right across the street!!! Go figure.
