    Sarah and Carl, a franco-welsh couple offer you a very warm welcome in this rustic converted farmhouse, full of charm, character and sobriety. During the hard work renovation of our 200 year old house, we have revealed the original features of stone walls and wooden beams and added some modern touches for your comfort. Maison Narbay is situated amidst a range of fantastic opportunities, only a few minutes drive from the long sandy beaches of Les Landes (Ondres, Hossegor), similarly only a short drive from Spain and the Pyrenees and lastly a stones-throw from the basque country . We have 2 large double bedrooms ensuite with private terrace directly accessible from the bedroom, and 2 family rooms also ensuite. As well as the B&B we rent a self catering, and independent house which can cater for a maximum of 6 people or for only 2 in the off season with just the ground floor(it has a total of 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms), this is "le meublé Narbay"

    Memorable B&B

    I apologize for taking so long to say "Many Thanks" to Sarah & Carl for our wonderful stay in September 2010. You have a beautiful house. One of the most memorable B&B we have experienced so far, in the last 20 years. I was attracted to your Website the minute I visited it. No disappointment. We chose "La Resina" and we hope to have it again next time, unless we select the self catering 'gite' which was in construction when we were there. Your location is perfect. Lots to visit in that corner of France and very close to Spain. I still remember the comfortable bed, the spacious room and bathroom. Everything was so clean. Breakfast was more than adequate and extremely pleasing. No doubt we will be back soon. From: Gerald & Danielle, Woodstock, Ontario, Canada

    A wonderful find.

    We were hesitant about staying in a place in the country, but are glad we did. The whold experience while at Narbay was wonderful. We were greeted with warmth, given a tour of the rooms we could use if we wanted, and our own room and terrace were large and charming and very comfortable. Sarah and Carl were very personable and extremely helpful: we were guided to two restaurants that were the dining highlights of our three-week tour--one on the ocean where the food was great and we watched the sun sink into the Atlantic, and one in the country in a charming and quaint building and setting and with, again, exceptional food. Neither was expensive. Sarah also provided directions to Bayonne and Biarritz and even gave us a Google map to get us on our way across southern France, since our GPS had proved to be eccentric. We couldn't have asked for a better experience.
