"Bob and Barbara are exceptional hosts. We spent 3 nights at the Florence Rose and were simply blown away with their level of care and service. This was our first bed and breakfast experience and there's no doubt we will be returning. One of the many highlights of the Florence Rose was the hot tub gazebo which was located privately behind the house and faced an amazing view of mountains in the distance. Another highlight was the attention to detail in each of the rooms. They were so quaint and we felt right at home. The Florence Rose is also located about 15 minutes away from Canon City,CO which had many tourist attractions and plenty of sight seeing. Florence is also home to many unique antique shops which is also very attractive to tourist unfamiliar with the area. Oh, and we can't forget to mention the breakfast... The food was fantastic! We were greeted with fruit and yogurt each morning. And the main breakfast meal was stellar...just like moms cooking! Don't pass up a fantastic opportunity, it's a perfect and quiet getaway. "
