I booked the 3rd floor suite for the weekend of my wedding March 7th, the Bayview Suite. They had mimosas and choco-strawberries in the room, upon arrival! A really nice touch! Its basically your own condo with 2-bedrooms, a bathroom and living area, very private. My wife and I were extremely happy with our stay. The location is perfect, just a short walk to the main attractions. They even have a few bikes that you can use to ride all over town, we took the tandem 2-seater bike out for a ride, so much fun!! We didn't make it to the breakfast each morning, "slept-in"..but we will be sure to take advantage of the food next time we stay here!!

This was our first stay at a "bed & breakfast" and we were not sure of what to expect. All I can say is that our experience at the Kenwood Inn was beyond our expectations. It all started with telephone conversations that I had with Pat before we even got there. Pat took the time to answer all of my questions about dining and things to do around St Augustine every time I called, not making me feel like I was bothering her or taking her away from other things she need to be doing. She was welcoming at the door, making us feel like we've known each other forever. The room was beautiful, clean and comfortable. Our breakfast each morning was out of this world from the coffee, breakfast cocktails, variety of delicious food, conversation with the other guests and Pat's great stories. The Kenwood Inn did not have a hotel feel but a welcome home feel, thanks to Pat, Bashi and the rest of her staff. I cannot wait to go back!

my husband and i were absolutely delighted with our 2 night stay. common areas and room were lovely. ambience exceeded our expectations. we loved the well stocked pantry/kitchenette for morning mugs of coffee and tea as we are very early risers. Locaton to historic town was perfect as we spent two days walking and touring. next year we will visit a month later as days were cool but b&b was cosy warm 24/7. thank you for a truly wonderful 2 days and nights. it was definitely the highlight of our week in florida this year.

Overall we enjoyed our stay here. However some rooms are still in the process of being renovated which meant construction at 7am every weekday morning! We were in an unrenovated room and had no hot water our entire trip. We complained about the lack of hot water after the first night and were rewarded with lukewarm water for the rest of the trip and still paid full price. Other rooms had hot water and luckily we were staying for a wedding and knew other guests there so we could use their showers. Our room door also had a huge gap that allowed noise and light on. from the outside and the doors between the bedroom and living room wouldn't shut all the way because of the serious downslope to the floor. Breakfast the one day we ate there was good and the owner was great about accomadating the wedding party and their needs. Convenient location. Beds were super comfortable. It would have been nice to have been told we were renting an unrenovated room...we probably would have chosen another room had we have known that was the case.
