We had a very pleasant stay at the Kenwood Inn. The British Colonial is smaller than we expected, but it did provide us access to the second floor porch and the hammocks, which we used each day for relaxing. The morning breakfast was both filling and tasty. It included a fruit dish, a pastry, and an egg item. Wine was served at 5 and the inn is close to many terrific restaurants and historical places of interest. Parking was easy and close. The only negative was the toilet paper was very thin, which just required you to use more.

everybody here was friendly and wanting to do whatever it took to make our stay relaxing and fun. Breakfast was superior and not your typical hotel breakfast. We loved the koi pond, pool patio, our private patio off of our room. Rooms were spacious and clean. You wont be disappointed.

St Augustine far exceeded our expectations. Quaint and upscale and plenty to do. We are already planning our return for the Holiday season and will stay again at the Kenwood inn. The location is great and right in the Old City/ Historic District. Several very nice restaurants within a very short walk. There is a lot for off street parking a very short distance away. For the most part, a car is not needed. The trolley system is great to use if you don't feel like walking or driving. The inn was fabulous and Pat was a great hostess. The 3 course seated breakfast was fantastic. The inn offers a pool and bikes if you desire. The inn is surprisingly larger than you might think and all of the rooms are unique. I recommend looking at each room description carefully and choosing which one will suit you best. If unsure, call Pat and she'll guide you. The room we had was large and had a huge shower. A very nice balcony patio was right out our door. The room, inn, and breakfast could not have been better. When we return, there is no reason for us to stay anywhere else.

We received a gift certificate so we decided to make it a weekend getaway but paying for an extra night was expensive. The room was nice and we had a living area. However the room was a bit crowded with big furniture which made it hard to move about. The room also felt warm. The bedroom was nice and the temperature was nice. You could hear the street traffic but after a while at night it was quiet. The room has a step down and I almost tripped going in the first time so that could be a hazard. The bathroom was nice and modern. The food was very good. The pool area was nice but it only had one pool towel in the bin. The parking was offsite which meant walking and as my husband has to use a cane it was not very comfortable for him. Our room never really got serviced after the first night. They serve wine after 5 pm which is very nice.

The Kenwood Inn was the perfect place for my kids and I to stay for our first visit to this historic city. The charm and ambiance of the 150 year old Inn put us in the right frame of mind for exploring the 450 year old city. The Old Town location was excellent. Just a block from the bay and a couple short blocks down cozy, one lane streets to the heart of the historical district. All that we wanted to see and do was within walking distance. And Bicycles were also available for longer trips. Pat and her staff were very accommodating and always added that personal touch when we inquired about something. The breakfasts in the courtyard were wonderful and the kids especially liked the Salt Water Pool. The Kenwood is one of the only B&Bs in Saint Augustine with a swimming pool. I stayed in the Bridge Suite with my 13 year old kids. (Boy / Girl twins) The room was comfortable and there was plenty of bed space for the 3 of us. 2 Fulls and a Sofa sleeper. It's one of the only rooms in the building w/o direct access to a balcony or porch, but that didn't bother us. The courtyard deck was a few steps away if we wanted to sit outside. Our only complaint would be the construction that was going on in the room next to us, but we understood the need for the upgrades and would certainly consider The Kenwood Inn our #1 choice if we are visiting this beautiful city again.

The Kenwood Inn is a beautiful facility. We particularly liked the outdoor spaces, including the back courtyard with a koi pond, the swimming pool and the cozy porches. We stayed in the Captain's Suite and found the room to be very well equipped, roomy, quiet and private. Pat and the entire staff provided wonderful hospitality and could not have been more helpful in arranging day trips. The food was perfect and delicious and the location is convenient to many attractions and restaurants.

My husband and I were given the generous gift of a romantic weekend getaway to St. Augustine. The location of this B&B was great- in Old Town St. Augustine, but right near everything. We arrived very early to explore, but we were able to drop our bags and park in the near by parking. It took a while for someone to come help us when we first got there, and it was a little awkward waiting around for someone to approach us. After getting greeted and getting our orientation, we were given some recommendations for where to eat and went to explore and enjoy the oldest city. The staff were very nice and remembered who we were after our initial meeting. Our romance package included a horse drawn carriage ride, a bottle of champagne, breakfast in bed and chocolate covered strawberries. I had requests the champagne for the carriage ride (which was great!), but we never received it. The breakfast in bed was a sweet idea, but the food was cold and I think it would have been better if we had just gone down for the buffet. Chocolate covered strawberries were waiting for us in the fridge downstairs that night and they were delicious. They have a saltwater pool that was refreshing and relaxing. The breakfast our second morning was delicious. Checking out was simple, but a little awkward when it seemed to be forgotten that the weekend was a gift and we were almost charged. The Blue Porcelin Room was pretty and comfortable, with a fabulous shower, fire place and shared porch. Just a warning- no door to the bathroom, so be comfortable with whoever you're staying with! All in all it was a great trip and a lovely stay, but since I was told the price at check-out, I don't think I would have liked it as much if I paid for it myself!

Highly recommend the Kenwood Inn. The location is just perfect for checking out the town - either by walking or picking up one of the city trolleys nearby. Breakfast here was a treat - the hosts provided something different each day and all were excellent. Wonderfully relaxing as there is lots of room in the common areas to relax and enjoy sitting down with a good book in one of the interior rooms or outside on the front porch or back in the courtyard. We'll be back soon.
