Just had a girls getaway and rented the carriage house. Wonderful experience~gourmet breakfast, quality amenities from linen, toiletries, to furnishings. Everything you need is available with every detail! (Including half and half creamer vs. the powder). The owners were accommodating and professional. I'm a stickler for nice hotels and this exceeded my expectations! Area shops and owners are very engaging, too. Walking distance to nice shops and restaurants.
The Palmer House Inn was perfect. The owners were lovely, breakfast delicious, and our room spacious, clean and with all amenities one would need. The location was great and one could walk to town and to the restaurants. It was the perfect choice!
Had a great stay at The Inn At Siders Lane. Stayed in the Pineapple Room. Large, very comfortable, has bunk beds in an alcove if you have kids. Jim and Maureen were terrific hosts. Breakfast was delicious each day. They set up an early continental breakfast on race day morning for the runners who were staying there. Great location, across the street from the town green, walking distance to downtown Falmouth, museums and stores. Excellent value compared to other places in Falmouth that we have stayed in. Highly recommended.
This inn is beautifully restored, appointed, and decorated. The location is nice. The cape is small and you expect that but our room felt like the biggest piece of real estate in town. Our bedding was stained and that ruined the perfection and made me wonder about overall cleanliness. There are hardwood floors throughout and it became apparent that those were not given a one over between guest check ins. Service and staff wonderful but not sure if I will go back due to cleanliness concerns.
The location of Palmer House is excellent; it's only a couple minutes walk from downtown Falmouth where all of the shops are. The interiors are clean and well appointed and the breakfast was excellent. The people that worked there would not be nicer. Highly recommended!
Lovely spot, walking distance to the beach and downtown Falmouth. The rooms were spotless, the staff was cordial and the front porch was a great spot to relax with friends and have a glass of wine.
The Inn has a great location, with a parking space included and a view of the water from our room. The Inn is walking distance to many restaurants, to two local beaches, and to other tourist sites. A great buffet breakfast is included, with a nice dining room and patio with a view of the water. The staff was friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean, and we are very happy with the value for our money.
The facility was very nice, limited parking. The room was clean, well decorated, and comfortable. The shower hot water was very difficult to operate, and never hit it to work right. The dining area was very pleasant but the food was below average.
The Inn at Siders Lane is just lovely and the owners Jim and Maureen are great too! The premises are lovingly cared for and spotless. Maureen is very attentive and accommodating for breakfasts and thoroughly familiar with gluten free diets as well as gluten filled diets. We loved stating there and will be back. The stay at Isaiah Jones Homestead was wonderful! The owners and staff made us feel welcomed from the moment we walked in the door. It became our oasis each morning and night as we rested from our day's activities. The atmosphere was not only warm, clean and inviting but it brought with it an old world charm. A nice change from what my husband and I are use to. We would definitely stay here again.
We've stayed here before and when looking for a quick getaway weekend before our first baby arrived it came to mind as a perfect place. We weren't disappointed. There is lots to do within walking distance of the inn and we also took the ferry over to the vineyard and spent a day there. Perfect relaxing getaway and breakfast each morning was amazing! Can't wait to return again.
We enjoyed our stay at Wood's Hole Inn over Memorial Day weekend. The rooms and inn are charming. We felt very comfortable. Everything was very clean and nice. Breakfast was excellent -- very nicely done and great variety. We are already planning to return.
THe Palmer House is a wonderful place to stay. Very clean and the staff is extremely accomodating. The only negative I could find was the food. It was not what I would have liked to have. THere wasn't much of a choice. You were stuck to what they had made for the day. Overall the experience was great. Oh, and the location is awesome. YOu can walk to downtown in minutes.
My husband and I loved our second floor room at Woods Hole Inn. It was spacious, clean, bright and super comfortable. We enjoyed gazing out at the harbor from our room and balcony and felt a restful sense of privacy in the rather large and busy inn. Three nights was the perfect length for our stay in Woods Hole. I think we ate at every restaurant in town. We borrowed bicycles one afternoon - there is a great bike trail that begins just down the street from the inn. Highly recommended.
Our room was spacious and we had a great view of the ferry from our little balcony. Breakfast was a wonderful surprise and full of home-made goodies like warm blueberry bread pudding with maple syrup. I would highly recommend this Inn and look forward to staying there again.
