"The Best Dog Friendly Inn I've Visited"

"Many hotels and Inns say they are dog friendly but what they really mean is that they accept dogs. The Lazy Dog Inn is truly a dog friendly B&B. The Innkeepers are dog lovers that treat my two dogs better than I do. There is a fenced in dog run in the back where you can let your dog get some exercise (Assuming they have any energy left after experiencing some of the great hikes in the area). This is also a good area to meet and play with other dogs staying at the Inn with their owners. If you want to leave the dogs behind for any reason there is a climate controlled kennel area where you can leave you dog. The Innkeepers check on the dogs regularly and take them out periodically. The rooms are comfortable and exceptionally clean. The breakfast was delicious and more than enough to fill us up. The two main reasons why I would recommend this B&B are: 1) the Innkeepers are great hosts. They can give you all of the information that you need about what to do and where to eat. They make you feel very welcomed and comfortable. They are real dog people. I have been to "dog friendly" Inns where I left wondering why people that didn't seem that into dogs would run a dog friendly Inn. 2) The White Mountain area is a fantastic destination for anyone that loves the outdoors. There is so much to do that you really cant run out of things to keep you active or entertained. "
