    Our staff always provide maps and and give advice on good / bad local restaurants and attractions to try and ensure you enjoy your stay with us. We used to be classified as 3 star quality establishment by ""Visit Britain"" and try hard to get the important things right. . Free street parking for 1 car per room is included (also on departure day) with limited offstreet parking available for small /medium vehicles .With your own front door key you are free to come and go as you please. All we ask is that you are quiet late at night and do not smoke in the building. The house is over 130 years old with lots of original features/charm including original sash windows and fireplaces. check in between noon amd 7pm. ring if you need to make special arrangements. York is one of the best preserved medieval city in the United Kingdom winding alleys and cobbled streets taking in the full glory of York's architectural heritage including the magnificent Minster one of the finest gothic cathedrals in Europe. It has been said that the history of York is the history of England. York is well provided for in the way of museums and art galleries. Walk the city walls and discover York's royal history of kings princes and England's Christian history.
