The Brasenose Arms is a 17th Century village pub with all of the charms that implies. Beams fireplaces cosy nooks real ales and great home cooked food. The local village website has a fabulous history with extensive photographs which demonstrate the beauty history and charm of this lovely village the site of both ancient and modern events - the 'Battle of Cropredy Bridge 1644' and of course the home of Fairport's Cropredy Convention. The ancient village of Cropredy with its thatched cottages and 13th Century Church is surrounded by farms open fields and the Cherwell river which offers a variety of walking opportunities. The Oxford Canal runs through the village providing picturest moorings within close walking distance to the pub.
