The weather was glorious and we thoroughly enjoyed sitting out in the wonderful landscaped garden with a bottle of wine until the sun went down!! Our 3 night stay was wonderful - the room/decor was of a really high standard and yet it's always the little things that count I feel - like the kind of bathroom toiletries that you just forgot to pack, the outdoor private decking and seating, the fridge........................ I truly appreciated your beautiful garden and the effort involved to keep it looking so lovely. Breakfast was delicious and I loved the variety of fruits in your fruit salad each morning. Nothing was too much trouble! Finally we thoroughly enjoyed the area and exploring Chichester, West Wittering, Portsmouth and Brighton and the Seven Sisters. We didn't quite manage everything on our to do list so hope to return later in the year. Thank you so much for the lovely time we have had here in Nick & Joyce

Even though we were rather late getting here we had a warm welcome. After a very comfortable night, feeling very refreshed we enjoyed a delicious breakfast. Thank you both we will certainly stop of again if we are in the area.

Found the Boathouse on line and tried to book direct by 'phone. Unfortunately their fax m/c answered. However before I had a chance to 'phone another hotel/guesthouse Lorraine rang me back, (1471), apologised and asked if she could help. We booked, my partner and myself and stayed there last month, April 2010. Both Lorraine and Kevin were friendly and helpful, the room was clean, welcoming and comfortable and we enjoyed a very good breakfast. We thought the Boathouse very good value for money and if/when we are in the area again we shall certainly stay at there. Rob.

Very enjoyable stay, just wish we could have stayed longer. Every home comfort & more. Wonderful hosts - probably the best B & B we've ever stayed in - and we've stayed in a lot over many years. We hope to return soon.

Great find! The Sail Loft met all expectations. Beautifully decorated and an amazing bed! Would recommend to family and friends. Thanks for a great stay, We would love to come back in the Summer.

Having read all the other reviews it would be easy to repeat them as they are all true. This is our first time away together as a couple and all I can say is if we continue to make such wise choices we are going to have some fantastic holidays. We had such a good time. There is nothing I can think of which wasn't perfect plus the other guests were brilliant! We had a BLAST!

Came down for my Husbands 50th - what a great choice. Wonderful room, wonderful bed, wonderful hospitality from Kevin & Lorraine. Thank goodness because weather was appalling Crab & Lobster Restaurant in Siddlesham was a fantastic recommendation by Kevin for my Husbands 50th.

We stayed here on 28th Feb for my partners 30th Birthday and it was amazing. The room was gorgeous (sail loft room), the bed was fantastic & sooo comfortable. Breakfast was fabulous. Kevin & Lorraine were very friendly, we had a lovely conversation over breakfast. We hope to return in the near future!

Absolutely Fantastic Night Away from the start. Kev has gone that extra mile, booking us a cab in advance (then taking us himself when it didn't arrive!), booking us a table for a meal, right down to turning the bed back on our return. We wished for a peaceful, romantic evening away and got every thing we could have wished for and more. Thank you again so much. Will definitely be returning. Ps.. Also having stayed at the Waldoff, I can say the bed gives them 'a good run for their money'!!! Well done!

Every comfort you could wish for and congenial host's too. Lovely family, food, garden & ambience.

Two lovely days, food good, bed was almost too good to get out of! It was sumptious. The Sail Loft was decorated so beautifully all credit to Lorraine. Kevin Greeted us and was most welcoming and a good source of information of the area. We will certainly recommend them to any one going to the area.

This is the best B+B we've stayed in. The most comfortable bed, beautiful linen and peace and quiet. Breakfast will set you up for the whole day. We think you've got this B+B just right, great attention to detail. Well done.

Thank you so very much for the absolutely fantastic time beckie and kevin had staying with you for kevins 30th birthday. They have not stopped talking about it, from the wonderful accommadation and bed, the most fantastic food and your welcoming hospitality, it was all so amazing. Thank you for decorating their room, the ballons and birthday banner, the wine already on ice and the birthday cake. Kevin was just litterally blown away with it all. They loved everything, the food was absolutely the best and apparently sitting out on the candle lit decking drinking wine and your wonderful company ended a really perfect evening and a birthday to remember. With two young children and a hectic lifestyle, the personal touches of yourself and the boathouse was everything that they needed. We cannot thank you enough and we lookforward to coming ourselves. I would have sent a thank you card but I thought instead you may like this as a recommandation in your reviews file. We highly recommend the boathouse and we will certainly tell everyone about it.
