"My husband & I have stayed at Apple Garden twice now. The cottage is beautifully designed, built, and furnished. OMG, the heated tile floor in the bathroom is the topping on the cake. Jan stocks the kitchen with homemade cookies and granola and the refrigerator is full of treats like local Straus organic milk and yogurt. She brings delicious breakfasts in the morning (key ingredients: eggs from the happy hens at Apple Garden Farm and fruit that they put up last summer) complete with cooking directions. Fruit trees were starting to bloom at the farm and nearby hills were blanketed in yellow mustard - a beautiful time to visit West Marin. And a wonderful place to snuggle up with a good book in front of the fireplace (gas) at night."
