"We stayed for two nights and loved the amazing views, large and comfortable room and the friendly dog. Most of the facility was built 3 years ago: very elegant, beautiful and high quality materials, efficient water heater and chickens in the front yard. The only thing missing were the solar panels on the roof...Maybe soon :-)) We arrived in the evening and with little advanced notice, Lori, the owner, prepared us an amazingly delicious dinner. We had the choice of enjoying it on the terrace by ourselves, or joining our hosts at the dining table. We chose the latter and Lori and her husband Bruce shared tips about what to visit in Yosemite, where the best and less knows views are and what to do when there is no parking available. We left dinner with a map and a full itinerary. Oh, and breakfast was one of the culprits for the few pounds I put on on vacation. We enjoyed a gourmet omelet and a pile of... let's call them, improved pancakes, on the terrace balcony, while underneath a coyote was chasing a cat to the front yard tree. And the best part of breakfast: real plates and real silverware (not just metal, but heavy & think metal) - I had really missed that in hotels, more than I thought!! "
