"My girlfriends and I were looking for a girl’s weekend to get some R&R. Sweet Cane Inn is just what we needed! The owners, Kathy and John are such great people and hosts and we learned so much about the house and its history. The whole weekend was perfect for a girl’s getaway. We are still raving about the beautiful house and the charm of the city. This is truly a gem in a wholesome little community. Our stay was in mid November and they were decorating for the start of the Christmas season and it looked spectacular! The beds felt like heaven which was great for me, because I can’t ever find a bed so comfy as my own. This was better! The treats at 4pm added an extra touch and it was a great time to unwind from the day, sipping wine and munching on hors d’oeuvres with friends and other guests. Breakfast was a wonderful southern delight and I still want to learn to make those cheese grits. I can’t wait to visit again!"
