"We just returned from a 3 night stay at Gingerbread Manor. We can not say enough how wonderful the owners, Ephraim & Yves are. They made us feel so comfortable, they gave us excellent recommendations for restaurants, sightseeing and transportation. The house is very warm and cozy; the owners take personal pride in the cleanliness of it. Our room was perfect - the bed, towels, amenities were great. Our breakfast each morning was fantastic - it was totally different every day and unlimited (one morning was quiche, one morning was lemon poppy seed pancakes with homemade raspberry sauce and we were sorry to miss the last morning, but we had a very early train to catch). They offer bike rental to all guests at a minimum fee; free computer use and free wifi; cable TV & DVDs in your room; they even offer for their guests who stay longer than 7 days, free laundry service. The location is perfect; centrally located for getting around. It's within walking distance to the Old City, the Metro, the bus and many, many restaurants. Being highly seasoned travellers we would highly recommend this B & B and without a doubt, stay here again."
