    The Ores and Mine is worth the stop to relax

    Very gracious hosts with John and Donna at their B&B in Twin Lakes. The home is a wonderfully decorated cabin nestled with a picturesque view of the lake. Donna was ever the superb cook for her hearty breakfasts and John was the story teller of the mines and surrounding lore. Donna recommended the right places to eat and steered us to them. The humming birds on the back porch were amazing to watch in the cool afternoons. We will be back again to stay once more and be part of thier family. –Jeff and Vera (Austin,TX)

    We really enjoyed are stay here it was so welcoming. The large gathering room was so much fun. We felt right at home. We would recommend this B&B to all and will return again.

    Enjoy the Mountains with Family

    Our time at Ores and Mine Bed and Breakfast was warm, welcoming and a feast for the senses. Outside our bedroom window was Mt. Elbert, Colorado's highest mountain, framed by Twin Lakes in the foreground. We woke to this glorious sight each morning. The facility blends the old with the new for a nostalgic and comfortable stay. The warm and kind owners, Donna and John, make you feel like family. They create the reason to return. The home is loaded with feasts for the eyes and the senses. Donna is a wonderful Italian cook who presents food that everyone enjoys, family style. As you sit and eat, your eyes are caught by the many articles under the glass table tops. Many are about family and local history. When it is time to retire, you are treated to a room full of memorabilia and family treasures. Whether you bring your family or become one of Donna and John's family, you will never forget Ores and Mine Bed and Breakfast. I promise that you will return.
