The Wyman Hotel & Inn

Quaint hotel with tremendous character. Great breakfast included served by very nice staff. We stay here every time we ski at Silverton.

We went to Silverton to get married in a beautiful meadow. We have stayed at the Wyman before and loved it so booked rooms for all the attendees for the wedding. I think we had 1/2 the hotel. They were very accommodating for the craziness of the wedding day with getting ready and making the bouquets in the hallway. They have done a great job at renovating the place with all the modern accommodations without losing the charm of this old building. I marked 5 for dining even though I did not eat there. It won't let me leave it blank and there is no N/A. A couple of people that were with us got the breakfast as room service and said it was very good.

The Railroad Room was very comfortable. The "hotel" fit the ambience of the old mining town, Silverton. The owner, Roger, was most engaging and interesting. We'll be back.

We stayed 7 nights at the Wyman Hotel & Inn during the first week in Aug'12. My wife and I were very pleased and in fact will make sure we stay at the Wyman next time we're in Silverton. The hotel holds alot of charm and it is clean and well maintained. Their breakfasts are a sit-down affair with full service and the food is what I would call french-gourmet in terms of quality, presentation and flavor. It is not your basic breakfast. Then in the afternoon they do a wine and cheese / tea & pastries hour. The proprieters, Rodger and Tana, take great interests in their guests, they understand service, and they are wonderful people. The small setting provides for opportunities to meet and socialize with the other hotel guests - bottom line, we highly recommend the Wyman Hotel & Inn! The Bergens from San Diego.

We have stayed at the Wyman every July for 15 years and plan to visit again next year. We stay 4-5 days each year. to hike and enjoy the wildflowers. Tana and Rodger continue to provide excellent service and accommodations. Cecelia and staff make an excellent balanced breakfast. The Wyman has many returning quests and we enjoy meeting new people. Silverton is so beautiful, unique and casual.

We have stayed at The Wyman several times and always enjoy it! The rooms are beautiful and comfortable, the breakfast is delicious and the owners are always so friendly and gracious. We plan on staying there every time we visit Silverton.

The rooms are very attractive and provide the feeling of luxury as it was early in the 20th century. The place is absolutely spotless. The owners, Rodger and Tana make you feel at home from thje minute you arrive. The breakfasts are absolutely delicious. We have stayed there twice now, each time for several days, and we are already looking forward to our third.

We have been to the Wyman before and each stay has been perfect. The rooms are beautifully decorated and immaculate. Rodger, the owner, made us feel like family while we were there. The breakfasts were out of this world, each starting with a fresh smoothie or a dish of fresh fruit before the main course of omelettes or quiches. I would recommend the Wyman to anyone... Whether they ask or not!!!

celebrated our 25th anniversary had a wonderful time they made us feel as one of the family enjoyed every minute would love to stay in some of the other rooms which are intriging and lovely

Staying at the Wyman is an easy way to get familiar with the small historic town of Silverton.

What a wonderful place to stay! The breakfast was amazing!!!

We stayed in the candlelight caboose (beautiful suite) for part of Railfest 2011. The private courtyard was perfect for us since the Wyman is pet friendly our two year old Boxer enjoyed her stay as well. And, hospitality?, the owners of this inn have it down to perfection. Gourmet (melt in your mouth) breakfast delivered to our suite every morning. The complimentary wine and cheese hour is a wonderful way to start your night out on the town. When we decided we wanted to stay in town another night, and the Wyman was fully booked (Railfest is a busy week in Silverton), it was the owner herself that got on the phone and found us another hotel to stay in. As stated, hospitality above and beyond. This will now be our only choice for THE PLACE TO STAY in Silverton

my family and i enjoyed staying at the wyman so much ,one week after getting home i made a reservation for next year for the labor day weekend. if you want to get away and relax and leave reality behind,go to silverton stay at the wyman and have fun. jerry rinehold

The owner (Roger) was very friendly and welcoming, as was the rest of the staff. The room and food were excellent. My second stay there with plans to return again!

The elevator room is AMAZING!!!! So comfortable and relaxing. My husband and I stayed there for our anniversary. Had a wonderful stay.

We arrived late with no reservation and loved our room. In the morning we loved even more that we could walk through the hotel and see all of the other ones too! (The innkeepers leave unoccupied ones open so you can plan your next stay.) We will be back - to stay in the boxcar! Can't wait!!!!!

Exceptional hospitality by the owners. Each room has a unique appeal bsed on the distinct and different decorating theme. Entire facility is tatstefully appointed and made for a very pleasant stay!

My husband and I stayed in The Wyman Hotel last summer on a romantic getaway. (He booked the "Playful Partners" room, of course, just slightly embarrassing...) Anyway - we LOVED the Wyman! I was astounded by the beautiful and period antiques and woodwork in that place--wow. You feel like you just stepped back in time a hundred years or so. We still talk about it. The breakfast there is killer, and the service - top notch. I really loved our tiime in Silverton, and at the Wyman. So much so that we have plans to return, and this time we'll bring the kids, too. Excellent place!

We absolutely loved the Wyman. Each room is decorated in a different western scene - we slept in The Winter Doe room which was lovely. The new owners are fantastic and keen to do everything they can to better the experience of their guests. So much so in fact that, on hearing we were English and that tea for us can only be made with boiling water, our hostess ordered electric kettles for the use of their English visitors - how about that for responsiveness?! Silverton is a lovely little town and the Wyman makes it perfect. So many little touches that you will not find elsewhere such as the wine and nibbles in the evening before dinner. We cannot recommend it highly enough.
