"If you're thinking about visiting Valencia, forget about impersonal hotels or hostels and go ahead and contact Valencia Mansion. Before I arrived in the city, from the very first e-mail we exchanged, Matt and Kaola showed how helpful and welcoming they are. They gave me lots of information and offered excellent directions on how to get there by car or public transport. There is no free parking in the streets around Valencia Mansion but they kindly showed me an area within a 5-10min walk from there where I could park my car for free for the whole duration of my stay. The location is anything you could dream of when visiting Valencia: right at the very heart of the city, in the historic old town, next to beautiful Plaza de la Virgen. It is in a very quiet street with lots of charm so you'll be able to get a perfect night's sleep at the very center of the city. However, the real treat is the place itself: Valencia Mansion is an artistic feast for your senses. Each room has a different name and a different touch, but they are all beautifully decorated and have lots of charm and authenticity, as does the rest of the house, which includes a beautiful social room where you can meet other guests and exchange experiences after a whole day touring the city, as well as a nice living room where an AMAZING breakfast is served. Both Kaola and Matt were great at offering tips and showing me the best places to eat or have a drink and they are definitely great conversationalists. Very interesting people indeed.
