The Villa was beautiful. Jerry and Harold were exceptional hosts, It was as if they had invited us to their house for a long weekend! We so enjoyed meeting them and the other guests, and chatting at cocktail hour (where wine flowed heavily and cheeses were outstanding.) Jerry was the best at making us last minute reservations based on how we were feeling that evening. What a great thing to be able to just go with the flow and not have every minute pre-planned! When he tells you not to worry about planning ahead, listen to him! He'll take care of everything. The breakfasts were amazing. Jerry was so excited to hear about our evenings at breakfast and then help plan our day. If you want to score big points with Harold, tell him Mack & Mabel is your favorite musical ever:) We had a fabulous time and can't wait to go back! Healdsburg is a delightful little down and so close and convenient. There's a great store there to get a picnic lunch (Big John's??) We rented bicycles and did our own sip and cycle tour. A little ambitious but we made it! We also went swimming at the Francis Ford Coppola winery - that was decadent! I can't say enough wonderful things about Jerry, Harold and Bella Villa Messina. (And Bandit & Wakkim the llamas, and Bernice, Basil and I can't remember the other dog's name:( We'll definitely go back!!

Bella Villa Messina was a wonderful stay with very knowledgeable hosts. Happy hour is a blast and the perks for knowing the hosts pay off at the local wineries.

We had an absolutely fabulous stay here! What a treat! The hospitality and Jerry in particular were amazing!! He will take care of everything for you and everyone in town knows Jerry! Truly makes a unique and catered get away. We will be back!!!

Our stay at Bella Villa Messina was like being enveloped into a favorite family member's home for a short visit. Jerry and Harold were exemplary hosts - they went above and beyond to make our stay outstanding. Each evening they hosted a casual wine and cheese hour to discuss the various outings of each visitor's day and share thoughts on dining in Healdsburg, wine tours, winery tastings, and even the local flora and fauna. Each morning we were treated to a lavish display of gorgeous fruits and THE BEST COFFEE as Jerry masterfully created an amazing breakfast. (My favorite breakfast during our three day stay was the Hawaiian french toast!). During this incredible breakfast, Jerry would regale us with stories and offer suggestions, directions and guidance for our outings that day. He guided on mapping our adventures throughout the wineries in the area, but if we just wanted to visit Lake Sonoma for photographing local landscapes, he provided us with detailed maps, the best place to pack a lunch for a picnic and where to find the idyllic spot to eat it! As newcomers to the wine country, we especially appreciated their generosity of spirit in sharing everything they could to help make this a great trip. A few of the other guests were repeat customers to the Inn who still benefitted and enjoyed the suggestion and guidance of our hosts. The experience was pleasurable and memorable all the way around. This B&B is a bit north of the town and tucked into a residential area. We were initially hoping to be within walking distance of the town center, but instead enjoyed the easy access to Dry Creek area and roads leading to the north wineries, as well as Russian River valley. I liked feeling a bit tucked away during our stay. My only suggestion is that while all the rooms are wonderful, knowing what I know now I wish I had booked one of the rooms that offered a balcony (the views are incredible)

The Most Outstanding B&B we have ever stayed in. Jerry & Harold treated you as Family..only better. Drew maps, told you how & where to go on your daily adventures. Complementary wine & cheese every evening. Different gourmet breakfast each morning. Their home was YOUR home, not just your bedroom. Really can't say enough good things. Rooms and house were well kept. Jerry and Harold were very accommodating hosts and made our visit to the region really special. I am typically not a person that stays at B&B's, but given this past experience, I will definitely go this route again. I would recommend Bella Villa Messina to anyone visiting the area.

Bella Villa Messina is a great place to stay if you're exploring the wineries of Dry Creek or Alexander Valleys, or just want to relax and enjoy the many shops and restaurants in the Healdsburg area. Harold and Jerry are fine hosts, making everyone feel welcome and making your stay comfortable. Their gourmet breakfasts and evening cocktail hour are not to be missed. Even the many antiques and works of art displayed in the house are amazing. Jerry is a great source of information about the area wineries, and you'll get personalized recommendations that are always on target. He knows the area and the people, and is well enough connected to make sure his guests are treated in first class style. The house itself, and the rooms, are well equipped, spacious and comfortable. There's plenty of room to spread out inside or out on the patio, and the views from every side are breathtaking. In short, if you're staying in the Healdsburg area, this is the place to be.
