The Inn is lovely, the location is spectacular. The food is great. The staff is wonderful. The grounds charming. There were two issues I had. There there was a very odd odor in my room when I was there. I don't know if it was just unfortunate timing or if it always smells that way. Additionally, the bed was very noisy. Any small movements during the night would wake us up.

Beautiful location and inn. The hosts were helpful and very friendly. The food was incredible!! One word of advice...if you reserve for dinner, please show up. They prepared food for 21 people that night we were there and 7 showed up. This is a small family run inn. I doubt they can afford to do that too many nights in a row. (Note, they never complained about this. Just an observation from a concerned guest). Jeff Brown

Thank you for your concern over dinner, we use organic ingredients from one of our local farms close to the Inn, and we are always striving to give our guests the best meals we can and we are thankful that you noticed.. I am always amazed how thoughtful and lovely our guests are-and you are certainly a true example of those traits. We hope to see you again.

My stay there was lovely. The rooms were sweet, the local organic meals, served family style, were delicious, the beds were amazing, firm yet comfy with beautiful linens, and the other guests were all friendly and interesting. The view of the mouth of the Klamath River is so beautiful and peaceful, you could just sit and gaze out for hours. Having been down to the California/Oregon coast a few times, I expected pot luck for a place to stay: either slick and over-priced or really seedy (have you been to Crescent City?). What I got was warm and inviting. I'll be back again and again.

Excellent place in every way possible. It is still our #1 place for a weekend get away, or any get away for that matter.

This is a fabulous inn. The breakfast was excellent, with lots of organic ingredients. Unfortunately, the restaurant we closed for dinner when we stayed, Monday/Tuesday, but we hope to return and have dinner. The beds are comfortable, the rooms are spotless, and all of the staff friendly and helpful. We spent hours reading and playing games in front of the fire, took long walks in the redwoods, and just relaxed. Enjoy!

To my delight, I saw an elk eating on the side of the road as I drove into town. As I pulled into the driveway and parked, a fat black and white cat rolled over begging for a belly rub as I opened the car door. After being politely welcomed and given check-in directions, I was delighted with my sweet, clean little room and deep old soaking tub. I immediately left the room and followed the Klamath River (with many birds swirling above in the blue sky) up to the ocean cliff (thanks to the front desk clerk’s suggestions) and saw the most amazing sight of the river meeting the Pacific. Be sure to take a warm jacket with a tight hood up to the ocean’s edge because even it’s mild at the inn, once you get to top of the hill at land’s end, the Pacific Ocean wind is cold and strong. When I returned from sightseeing, again the cat was waiting to greet me from under the stairs. As a solo traveler, I was unsure about dining at the same table with strangers, but it turned out to be a sweet young couple from Tennessee and a warm, gregarious retired couple living in Portland now with many lively stories to tell. We all had a wonderful conversation. The WIFI worked well in my room and I was able to watch Netflix, and my queen bed mattress was a perfect firm yet soft too. My room was quiet, and I slept well after soaking in the deep tub. The bathroom contained many natural toiletries made locally (by the Yurok?). Breakfast was amazing – separate tables this time – I had a green smoothie, fresh yogurt with blueberries and juice, and thick slices of toast made from their homemade bread, and delicious coffee. There is a large breakfast menu with eggs, pancakes, etc. too. All staff were friendly and helpful. I wish I could have stayed more than one night. The town, natural beauty of the area, and the inn are a happy, peaceful, relaxing memory I’ll keep. I’ll definitely go back and highly recommend it.

One of our largest and brightest rooms, Carruthers Cove has four large windows overlooking the river, a four-poster king bed , a electric fireplace, and a large private bath with walk-in shower.
: $179 - $159
Yurok Loop is our smallest and coziest room in the Inn. It features a full-size bed and private bathroom with clawfoot tub and shower. This room is best for early risers, as some kitchen noise can be heard as breakfast is prepared.
: $99 - $119
Boat Creek is a bright and charming river view room with a queen bed. Relax in the comfortable sitting area while enjoying a grand view of the river. This room has a private bath with a walk-in shower.
: $179 - $159
Hobbs Walls is an econmical and comfortable room that features a full bed (with a cast iron frame) and a small private bath with a calw foot tub. This room is perfect for the budget conscious guest. Hobbs Walls is right above the kitchen, so expect some noise in the morning (you'll also be the first to smell the bacon!)
: $99 - $119
Located in the southwest corner of the Inn, the Rhododendron Room has a river view, lovely natural light, an antique birds-eye maple queen bed set, and wallpaper that we believe is original to the 1914 building. The room’s private bath, built in the old water tower, is charming if small, and has a claw-foot tub and shower.
: $139 - $159
Redwood Creek is small but bright and comfortable. The room has a full-size antique maple bed and a private bath including a claw-foot tub with shower. Single occupancy is recommended unless you don’t mind being very cozy with your roommate. Maximum 2 people.
: $119 - $99
Cathedral Trees is arguably our most beautiful room. It features a king-size bed. Twin antique velvet chairs provide a comfortable view of the river. A romantic claw-foot tub is situated with a river view as well. We used a white vessel sink mounted on an antique commode to create the look of the pitcher and basin that was probably the only water in the room when it was constructed in 1914 (ours does have running water!) In addition to the tub, this room has a separate bathroom with a toilet and 48-inch shower.
: $199 - $169
Queen size bed with a wonderful view of the River from the living room, Bamboo floors, HD TV, handicapped accessible, Private entry. Walk in shower. Some early morning and late night noise from the Dining room above. Works well for guests who don't like stairs.

High on the hill is our 3-bedroom, two bath house. With expansive views of the Klamath River, the Redwood Park, and the Pacific Ocean, this charming one-story home has a deck and hot tub with a view, an open floor plan and large windows in the living room. Sleeps 6 comfortably with three bedrooms, one with a King bed, one Queen bed and two twin-beds. The Requa Inn's famous all you can eat, cooked to order breakfast is included for everyone. A beautiful kitchen is there for your use, ($50 cleaning deposit required)
: $389 - $399
In the northeast corner of the Inn, Hidden Beach is small, cozy and economical, with a beautiful antique walnut bed set. In spring and early summer, you can hear a gurgling brook outside your window. The room has a double bed and a private bath including a claw-foot tub with shower. Like Redwood Creek, this room is recommended for single occupancy, but 2 people are welcome if they don’t mind snug quarters.
: $99 - $119
Fern Canyon, a southeast corner room with an expansive view of the river, is our largest and most breathtaking room. It has a four-poster king-size bed and deluxe mattress. Often this is the room guests choose after touring all of them. The room’s only shortcoming is its small but functional private bath with claw-foot tub and shower. The smaller-than-standard tub supposedly came from a 19th century passenger ship. In spring and early summer, guests in Fern Canyon are lulled to sleep by the sound of a brook that runs along the east side of the building.
Dolason Prairie is a large northwest corner room with a California King Bed and a nice sitting area with an armchair and coffee table. The private bathroom, built in the old water tower, is small but functional with a large new walk-in shower.
: $159 - $139
