"If you are looking for an authentic and charming French experience, this is the place for you. This Montmartre Bed and Breakfast is my favorite in the entire city for many reasons: The cathedral cielings, modern white fireplace, wall to wall bookshelves and numerous windows with a view. The rooms have been decorated with flare and class. Great taste is expertly combined with personal style. The owner, a gracious and pretty Sorbonne University educated woman is also a young American Art Expert from Sotheby's Paris. She has been living in France for over fifteen years now and collecting art for most of her life. She welcomed us with great care, explaining to us how to get from place to place as well as giving us advice on the most "at the moment" things to do in Paris (vernissages, fashion shows, museums, theatre, shops and more) The pure white walls of each room are refreshed with dapples of bright pastel colors and contemporary paintings that will energize your sprint across the magical city later in the day. The apartment was bathed in warm yellow sunlight throughout the day during our stay and there was a refreshingly cool breeze when the windows were wide open. We could smell the perfume of pink roses on the romantic little balcony where you can enjoy a glass of wine and some cheese while exploring the views of Paris's parks and rooftops. As the flat is on the third floor you can see miles ahead into the city perched on the balcony. The flat is very private as it is on the third floor of the building. The neighborhood was even better than we expected. The quantity of restaurants, shops, art galleries, bakeries and other activites kept us busy for a week. The flat is near the train stations, the Moulin Rouge, The Place de Teatre, the Metro Station ABBESSE and the most famous department store in Paris, Galeries Lafayette. "
