"Traveling with another couple, we rented two rooms at the Fillmore at the end of April 2012. There are so many fine B&B's in Lanesboro that it was hard to choose but we selected the Fillmore House because the website just seemed more welcoming and honestly, because the dog's name was Vivian. Well Vivian is a marvelous dog who knows quite a few tricks. I knew we had made the right choice as soon as we stepped out of the car and could see the extensive flower garden, immaculately groomed, one the front lawn. From the curbside, this place was exceptionally clean and neat but there were loving touches everywhere. My favorite is that the night light in our bathroom had the same design as the figure in the wallpaper in the bedroom. It was all perfect and I hope we'll find a weekend in the fall to return. Oh, and the Commonweal? Ibsen's "Pillars of Society" should not be missed! "
