"From the time that we arrived at Fort Conde Inn, Alan and Matt welcomed us with southern hospitality at it's best. The beautiful decor of the house was exquisit. Alan and staff were knowlegable in the period and decorations inside as well as surrounding areas. We were giving a personal tour of the home and intiment details of the history surrounding the village upon arrival. We were giving a chose of when breakfast was served which was nice touch. Chef Jeremy cooked us a 5 star breakfast- including eggs benidict, fresh fruit, crisp bacon and potatoes. The rooms are beautifully decorated with top of the line matress and linens. One night, we enjoyed a cocktail downstairs in the parlor which was a perfect end of our stay. I recommend Fort Conde Inn over any downtown accommodations for that special weekend get away.
