"We were hesitant about staying in a place in the country, but are glad we did. The whold experience while at Narbay was wonderful. We were greeted with warmth, given a tour of the rooms we could use if we wanted, and our own room and terrace were large and charming and very comfortable. Sarah and Carl were very personable and extremely helpful: we were guided to two restaurants that were the dining highlights of our three-week tour--one on the ocean where the food was great and we watched the sun sink into the Atlantic, and one in the country in a charming and quaint building and setting and with, again, exceptional food. Neither was expensive. Sarah also provided directions to Bayonne and Biarritz and even gave us a Google map to get us on our way across southern France, since our GPS had proved to be eccentric. We couldn't have asked for a better experience."
