The lodge is situated on 280 sunny hillside acres, 15 minutes from Fairbanks. Massive spruce trees were logged from the homestead and crafted into the unique structure of A Taste of Alaska Lodge. The 7,000 square foot natural log building, completed in 1995, is decorated with antiques and Alaskan collectibles. In 1947 Walter and Dorothy Eberhardt homesteaded the original 160 acres and developed the land for farming. Walter continues to farm it today at age 89.

The stay at A Taste of Alaska was our final stop on a 12 day Alaskan trip and it was our favorite portion. Kory took amazing care of us and we enjoyed the Lodge immensely. Thank you!!

Our stay was wonderful. The rooms were very comfortable. The breakfasts were outstanding. We have already recommended A Taste of Alaska Lodge to others. We will stay here again when visiting Alaska.

Taste of Alsaka Lodge is a comfortable place to hang your hat. The owners were veryhelpful in arranging activities and accomodating our large group. I would stay there again on our next trip to Fairbanks.

The owners were very pleasant and worked hard to satisfy us with any questions we had. We hated to leave. The rooms were very, very clean. The breakfasts were fine also. This was the best part of our vacation. Ed and Ruth Rose

We had a great couple of days/nights here staying in the Annex - would highly recommend as a base for Fairbanks and around, lovely situation and views, very good service, really felt like 'a taste of alaska'.
