The Wailuku Guesthouse aviary is just a few feet off in the gardens. Guests are welcome to visit with Ruby, Phoenix and Hana. They do quite a bit of talking in the afternoons and begin to mimic guests. The Wasabi Suite is a studio with a wet bar and a private bath with shower. Amenities include king bed, air, dresser, refrigerator, toaster, microwave, coffee maker and utensils and dishes for food prep or the barbeque making it perfect for longer stays. $119/night.
The Wesabi room bath is typical of the guesthouse: small but clean and tropically decorated. The Plantation room is one of the guest favorites with a queen bed, tall ceilings, ceiling fan as well as air-conditioning, and a private bath with tub/shower. This room also has a small closet, desk, refrigerator, microwave, and coffee maker. $99/night.
The Mill room is also upstairs and reflects the original look of this plantation style home with a king bed, air, private bath with shower, refrigerator, microwave, and coffee maker. $99/night.The Master bedroom of the largest unit, the two bedroom Garden Ohana. This has a king bed while the other bedroom has two double beds. Includes air, refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker, as well as a wet bar and utensils for light food prep or the barbeque.
The Garden Ohana also includes a living and dining area, a separate shower room from its private lavatory, and is right off the pool. Perfect for families or extended stays the two bedrooms makes it a bit more expensive at $189/night.The Hibiscus room is the most affordable unit sporting a queen bed and a private bath with shower and river rock floor. Just steps from the warm saltwater pool for relaxing poolside, it's also well equipped with a microwave, refrigerator, coffee maker, and a fan (please note this one room does not have air conditioning). $89/night.
The Wailuku Guesthouse has been pleasing guests with its clean, affordable accommodations since 2000. The pool area doubles as the common area to enjoy the near perfect Maui weather and is a great place to unwind with a drink or a morning cup of Hawaiian coffee. Gated for family safety, the pool is also heated year round with the solar water panels you see atop the cabanas.
