River and Rose Fresh Strawberry-Rhubarb Sauce: Breakfast-Brunch

Prep time:5 min.

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups fresh rhubarb (1/2" pieces)

  • 1/4 cup sugar

  • 1 1/2 tablespoons lemon juice

  • 2 cups Fresh sliced strawberries

Step 1:

In pot, bring rhubarb, sugar and lemon juice to simmer; cook, stirring until tender.

Step 2:

Stir in strawberries and cook until softened.

Step 3:

Let cool.

Step 4:

Serve over other fresh fruits (we like fresh nectarine or peach slices), Blueberry or Apple cinnamon pancakes, crepes, coffeecake...
