Smoked Salmon Tip: Appetizer-Snack

Servings: 20

Prep time:5 minutes

Ingredients:

  • 1 package low-fat or regular cream cheese, softened

  • 1 can salmon, sockeye preferred; drained

  • 2 tablespoons finely chopped onion

  • Liquid Smoke (10-12 drops; to taste)

Step 1:

Stir salmon and onion into cream cheese; may add a few drops of milk to thin for easier stirring.

Step 2:

Add Liquid Smoke to taste, one drop at a time.

Step 3:

Serve with toasted pita bread or other cracker that does not have a strong flavor (so you can taste the dip).

Step 4:

Enjoy! This is great when unexpected company arrives. And, everyone seems to love it.
