Pears Alamo: Breakfast-Brunch

Ingredients:

  • 3 firm ripe pears

  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice

  • cinnamon-sugar

Step 1:

Peel, core and halve pears. Place halves face down in glass baking dish. Pour Lemon juice over each pear half and sprinkle with cinnamon-sugar.

Step 2:

Microwave 1 to 5 minutes, until fork tender but not mushy.

Step 3:

Serve warm with cold vanilla sauce (light sour cream, sugar, vanilla) and a few fresh raspberries.
