Stuffed French Toast: Breakfast-Brunch

Ingredients:

  • French Bread - half loaf cubed

  • 4 oz Cream Cheese

  • 1 1/4 C Half & Half

  • 4 Eggs

  • 1/2 cup Vermont Maple Syrup

  • 1/4 cup sweet Butter

  • Cinnamon

Step 1:

Butter attractive casserole dish. Preheat over to 350 degrees.

Step 2:

Place layer cubed French Bread in casserole. Slice Cream Cheese and place slices on top of cubed French Bread. Add additional layers of Bread.

Step 3:

Mix with whisk Half & Half, 4 Eggs and 1/4 cup Vermont Maple Syrup. Pour the mixture slowly over casserole ingredients to saturate even the top bread cubes. Sprinkle generously with Cinnamon. Bake for 35-40 minutes in 350 degree oven.

Step 4:

Mix & Melt 1/4 C Butter and 1/4 C Vermont Maple Syrup. Drizzle syrup mixture over the french toast and serve. Can serve with additional Butter & Maple Syrup mixture.
