Asparagus and Ham Strata

Ingredientes

  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 1/2 pound fresh asparagus (or 2 cans drained asparagus spears or pieces)
  • 1 medium bell pepper, chopped
  • 1 medium onion, diced
  • 1 loaf French bread, cubed (8 cups)
  • 2 cups Cheddar Cheese
  • 1 cup chopped ham
  • 1/2 cup honey
  • 8 eggs
  • 2-1/2 cups milk
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 tsp. pepper

  1. Saute asparagus, pepper, and onion in butter, then place in a greased 9 x 13-inch pan. Layer bread cubes, ham, 1 cup cheese, and veggies. Beat all other ingredients (except cheese) and pour over layers. Sprinkle remaining cheese. Refrigerate overnight. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 to 50 minutes.
