Turkish Pancakes : Breakfast-Brunch

Ingredients:

  • Large eggs

  • 3 cups all purpose flour

  • 3 cups low fat milk

  • 1 teaspoon salt

  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar

  • 1/8 cup Italian coffee syrup raspberry/orange/strawberry

  • 1 stick butter

  • 1 stick butter

  • Sprinkle Powdered sugar

  • 3/4 cup fruit jam

Step 1:

Preheat oven to 425 Spray 2 9X12 (or 1 large bake dish) glass bake dishes with Pam.

Step 2:

In blender, blend until smooth, eggs, milk, flour, salt, sugar, Italian flavoring of your choice. Melt butter until bubbly, then pour batter in to baking dishes.

Step 3:

Bake 10 to 17 minutes, test at 10 for firmness. Melt a fruit jam that compliments the Italian syrup in microwave until it is liquified to drizzle on pancake.

Step 4:

Drizzle jam on top before cutting, sprinkle with powdered sugar and serve on a garnished platter with ham or pork tenderloin, seasoned potatoes and let your guests enjoy.

Step 5:

Recipe can be cut in half to serve four.
