    The Saxon House is an elegant stone fronted Victorian residence, The Saxon House has retained many of its original features making each room individual and rich in character. All the hotel's 14 bedrooms include private en-suite facilities, colour television, hairdryers, hospitality trays and toilet accessories. A full Yorkshire breakfast served in our bright and airy dining room is sure to set you up for the whole day. After a tiring day spent sightseeing or touring, the Saxon's cosy bar and restful lounge with their inviting atmosphere are the ideal place to relax and meet fellow guests. You have your own keys so you can come and go as you please. The room is yours for the duration of your stay and we hope you will make yourself comfortable and feel at home. We are situated only a short riverside walk from all Tourist Attractions and Theatres. If you are travelling by car we have our own private car park and we are only a short taxi ride away from both train and coach station.
