    The Hemmel Bed and Breakfast nestles beneath the hills near Wooler which is the ""Gateway to the Cheviots"", just minutes from Northumberland's stunning coastline. Ideal to take in the breath taking scenery, walking, riding, fishing, golf and bird watching The private court yard is accessible via the living room/dinning room area and is perfect for reading on a quiet summers day. A great place to relax on a nightly stop over for walking tour of Northeast England. The living room is warm and comfortable with a 3 and 2 seat sofa. Free View TV and Wood burning stove. The Dining room is bathed with early morning sunshine from the large window and door way that leads through to the Court Yard. Please Note: We are a No-Smoking property. Regrettably, we cannot accept pets. Children welcome. Check-In time: 1600 and Check-Out time: 1000.

At junction with FARM to FREEZE - turn RIGHT on B6348 and CROSS RIVER over WHITE BRIDGE. 3/4 mile at CROSS ROADS turn LEFT (sign for The Hemmel) and follow signs. Edinburgh SOUTH on A68 to A697 for Coldstream & Wooler. At Wooler pass garage on left - take B6348 over river on white bridge (then as above). TRAIN - BERWICK - Bus or Taxi at Station
