    Come and stay at Karslake Country Guest House in Winsford, reputed to be the prettiest village on Exmoor. Originally built in 1450 as a malt house, it now offers modern day comforts whilst retaining many of its original charm and features. Enjoy a pampering stay in large comfortable beds within attractively decorated rooms. The Karslake has been awarded AA 4 diamonds for accommodation, plus rated in the top guest houses in the UK. The village of Winsford (as mentioned in the Doomsday book) has a pub and a local shop for necessities. Further afield there are the coastal towns of Minehead (30 mins drive) and Taunton (40 minutes drive) with its shops and bars. In the other direction is the market town of Tiverton (40 minutes drive).       Bristol|Road|85|Driving South from Bristol - Leave the M5 at J27 signposted Tiverton Parkway Station. Follow the A361 to the roundabout and take the third exit to Dulverton (A396). Follow the signs to Minehead. Turn left at the first Winsford and Exford sign. Enter Winsford and turn left before the garage and left again. We are up the hill on the right.
