    Woodlands is also close to the National Park Visitor Centre at Brockhole, the Wordsworth Museum at Grasmere and, in whichever direction you travel from Windermere you are surrounded by some of the most spectacular scenery in England We could tell you about our beautiful 15 bedroom, non-smoking boutique in Windermere, just a short walk from Bowness and Lake Windermere. Or a little bit about the way we go that extra mile to source fresh local produce for our breakfasts. How about our lovely, comfortable ensuite bedrooms, with the focus on style and comfort. The thing is, most hotels say they do all this, but then guests feel a little let down once they arrive. Our main purpose is to exceed all your expectations and we work hard to encourage our guests to return to Woodlands year on year. We are regularly voted the most popular hotel in Windermere on TripAdvisor and our guests are incredibly loyal. So what makes us so special? The fact is, we absolutely love what we do and we sincerely hope that this is reflected in the way we look after our guests. At Woodlands, we have always had a policy of making everyone feel welcome.
