    The guest house is personally run by its owner, Leigh Giles, and is the perfect accommodation base from which to explore the stunning scenery and natural beauty of the Lake District. Situated in a quiet residential area close to Baddeley Clock Tower, the midway point between Windermere and Bowness, Montfort Cottage is just a 10 minute walk from either village and their abundance of shops, restaurants and traditional pubs, and a short distance from Lake Windermere itself. Rooms at Montfort Cottage are available to reserve on either a Room Only or Bed & Breakfast basis, giving guests a choice of tariff to suit their requirements, with prices starting from just £25 per person per night. A complimentary continental breakfast in bed, comprising of croissant, pain-au-chocolat, toast with butter & preserves and a glass of chilled orange, apple or cranberry juice, is included when you book on a Room Only basis for a minimum of two nights. M6 Motorway|Road|18|From the M6 motorway take Junction 36 and head towards Windermere on the A591. When you enter the village follow the one way system and head towards Bowness. After approximately ½ mile turn left at Baddeley Clock tower onto Lake Road. Princes Road is immediately on the right. Drive along Princes Road for 150 metres, Montfort Cottage is situated on the right hand side of the road.
